The last time i visited this hotel was when it was 4 star and owned by the family who now own Hotel Majestic down the road back in 2003. Not much has changed decor wise apart from the front bar which at night is really good fun with karoke - even with a 3 year old in tow. Swimming pool area very clean as are the rooms. Only downside i would say is that they don't have much of a varied menu suitable for children - which made it quite difficult at times and some of the resturant staff did not speak very good english which is fine but rather than seek another member of staff who did speak english we were just forgotten about which was a shame.
Despite these points we really did have a lovely family holiday and have actually re-booked to go back in July this year :)

Room Tip: All rooms are in good location but staff are very helpful over email prior to arriving in getting a room you want i.e.front facing

Musty, dark rooms and poorly designed showers that FLOOD the bathroom (and beyond). Dining room staff were pleasant. Only stayed here as part of a student group...would not choose otherwise. The upside is the nice location and proximity to the beach. But that low tide smell in our room...ugh.

The pictures of this hotel lies - they must have been taken when the hotel was build - it is much to expensive for what you get - If you book it anyway - book it only for few days - so you have a chance to find another hotel - other wise you will be charged - you can't change the booking even if its only for One Day - the cleaning staff are very good - clean towels every Day - One Day wi-fi 3 euro - One hour billard 7 euro

Firstly my wife and our 6 year old son had a wonderful time in lido di jesolo. Great food, Great weather and lot of activities to do. How ever the only downer was HOTEL AMALFI!!! it was advertised as a "3 star establishment" mind you i have stayed in better hostels. The room was very small with 3 single beds squashed together and no balcony. The Air conditioner sounded like a tracker, cuppled with the fact the hotel is on the main strip with no double glazed window made sleep virtually impossible. Despite asking to be moved twice we were declined. The straw that broke the camel's back was when a failure in thr plumbing system forced the to move us, as the stench was unbearable. (Not good for my pregnant wife) despite all the hassell the hotel point blank refused to refund is a cent! And looking at the 1000's of other beautiful hotels in the resort made us sick on more ways than one! This is the first time ive ever wrote a review for a hotel... i guess this is the only comfort i can take away from hotel Amalfi... know that a couple of hundred words my help influence others to choose elsewhere... I must add that we felt Lido di jesolo gets 5 stars well worth a visit, clean & tidy with lots to da and just a short boat trip to venice. You get the best of both worlds prefect for all types of travellers. We will be back but not to hotel Amalfi !!!
Regards Guys :)

i was part of a group of 35 people and the hotel was part of the Jeselo football tournament experience and stated it was 3 stars !
unfortunately in the UK 3 stars means something different to Italy!
The rooms were a step up from a hostel but very clean and the maids came every day ! ( no air-con as it was too early in the season !!)
However they crammed 3 people into a room meant max for 2 and it felt like a youth hostel.
The food was half board and i would recommend not taking that package as it was school meals at best
which was a shame as when i ate in the main restaurant and the food was excellent!
The staff were superb and very helpful and saved the trip.
if you are watching your money and don`t mind cramped conditions then the Amalfi is for you.
