I wanted to give this a higher rating due to the friendly service however due to the poor sleep I couldn't.

Rooms: The walls were very thin. We had some neighbours who were very excited and were squealing and carrying on all night. Not good sleep for us or our child. The room was very small and the shower minute. I think this is probably the norm for Cinque Terre though. The decor was dated.

Service: Lovely people on the front desk

Location: The location was pretty good. Close to the beach, train station, restaurants and shops.

Parking: Parking is close by and is secured.

Breakfast: great variety

I stayed there with a large group and we were easily accommodated. The location is great because it is within walking distance to the train station, most restaurants and most importantly, to the beach with it's beautiful sunsets. A few cons though: we went after Oct. 1st and while it was still very warm the hotel had shut down their air conditioner that worked in all rooms. I was told to "open the windows". As our room backed up to a large square filled with very children before 10PM and noisy people after 10PM, it was hard to have a quiet time. I was told by friends whose rooms faced the front of the hotel that the noise level was even worse because of workers and traffic. Also, I found the beds very hard and not so easy on sleep on. The room was spacious and kept very clean. The family who owns and works t here were very helpful as well.

Room tip: Noise level high when windows open. Once closed, the level dropped considerably.

This a a very well run family hotel in a convenient location in Levanto. In the town centre with many nice eateries and shops, as well as near the beach. Train station is about 15 min walk or a short cab ride away. The Cinollo family running this hotel were very helpful in addressing our questions and requests to make restaurant bookings etc. and also provided us useful info on getting around town an CT during check in.

The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable with a terrace overlooking the street. Perfect place to have a good night rest after exploring CT.

Thank you to the Cinollo family for their hospitality!

Great location from the train station and right in town. We walked from the train station and it was only a 10 minute walk. Our friends took a taxi and it is only 10 euros for the entire mini-van (held 6 people). We wanted to visit the 5 cinque Terre regions as well as Portovenere, so Levanto was the perfect place to stay in. We walked each day to the train station (bought a 3 day unlimited train pass) and visited two areas each day. The hotel room was a good size and very clean. The check-in was quick and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast, however my only complaint was that the coffee machine, toaster and egg boiler machine were congested in one area. This needs to be spread out differently. The coffee was awful, however we discovered you could ask the staff to make a cappuccino instead. My recommendation would be to have the staff hardboil the eggs ahead of time or serve scrambled eggs. Other than this it was an excellent Hotel, in a great location. Also close to the beach. There are a couple of excellent seafood restaurants right next door which the staff recommended but you need reservations to get in.

All of the staff at this hotel are very cordial and eager to please. We did not run into a single staff member that wasn't pleasant. Our room was in the "attic" but the room was large but the bathroom in our room was quite small but that was our fault for waiting too long to reserve a room. It was still quite warm when we were there during the first week of September but the AC was turned off at midnight each night which wouldn't have been a problem but opening the window for ventilation wasn't an option due to street noise from below. All in all, I'm glad the hotel has kept it's quaint Italian charm and we would likely return to this property.
