We arrived in Levanto around half two in the afternoon, desperate for some lunch and the hotel recommended Il Falcone as somewhere that would still be open. It's on a quiet street leading to the beach, and is really a focacceria (and very nice they look too!) with tables outside, some covered and some not, but they have a menu and serve other food as well as focaccia. It was a hot and sunny day, so we sat at an uncovered table and chose lunch from the menu - two plates of pasta with a simple sauce and a bottle of wine and it was a lovely experience. The menu lists a huge number of salads and pizzas and a few pasta dishes - or you can order focaccia from the range on display in the store. We had lunch twice at this restaurant, the second experience being just as nice as the first.
