We had two meals in this very nice restaurant. It was very popular both nights and I recommend you book to be sure of a table. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Their minestrone soup was very good. The raviloli was a bit heavy but fair. The panna cotta a little disappointing. Having said that we did go back a second time and would return.

A queue of people waiting for a table is always a good sign. Of course, we booked a table in advance so we bypassed the queue. Unfortunately, the staff we simply too busy to serve us in the beginning, so I feared the worst. But after about 10 min. a waitress came to our table, apologized for the wait, and from then on, service was good. We ordered a seafood starter to share, and mixed grilled fish for 2 as a main course, and a mixed salad. The food was very good, nice and fresh, and well timed. We had Irish coffees after the meal and after paying the bill, we were very happy with our meal, quality/price ratio and overall experience. I do feel sorry for the staff, an extra waiter/waitress during evening service would be a huge improvement. The waitresses that were there, did their utmost.

We saw this place full and thought we'd try it. Fully booked but we had time so we booked to come back another night. Of course we are English travelling abroad expecting everyone to speak English. And they did but something went wrong somehow. We were 4. Two of us ordered a starter and then 4 main courses, three of which were the same - grilled fish. We ordered fries with the fish. What happened was two starters delivered with two main courses. No sides. Just the two of us who were not having a starter served with their with main course at some time as the others first course! Then the other two main courses delivered with the sides. Two groups who came in after us were served before us. Service was fast at times and slow at others so difficult to judge what was about to happen. The grilled fish was very bony. I know fish has bones but this was fish flavoured bones rather than fish with bones. It might have been a bad night or we had ordered badly but I can't recommend this restaurant

We had a lovely mesl here but sorry to say the male waiter we had acted like it ws his first job ever as waiter, a let alone his forst day at work.
I have never dined with my husband wjere he had to open the wine, this guy had no clue whatsoever on how to do it, the wineopener was his enemy.
We managed to help so he did not distroy the bottle, but he needed training.
For starters we tried something new to us - A kind of miniature "calzone" , filled with heese herbs and garlic, very nice.
For maincourse we choose scampi in Cognac and it was very nice, a good tip however - please serve a wet tissue when you have served shellfish, always works in my book.
There was three waiters at work, one a professional, one was so occupied with anyone else than the ones she was serving and we never had eye contact with her and the last one hopeless and in my opinoin not fit to be a waiter.
We did not take dessert or coffee here but decided to go somewhere else.
There are so many places to go so. We will most likely visit them before coming here agian, sorry to say because the food was good.

Thank Pkoch

This is were the locals eat so we didn't feel like we were in a touristy restaurant. The food was fresh and tasty. I can recommend the seafood pasta, tenderloin, lasagna and mixed salad. It's situated 5 mins walk away from the busy tourist precinct near the town square.
