Description: It’s a small family run restaurant, representing the excellence of the Italian Riviera cuisine since decades, first in Soviore (the shrine above Monterosso), then Bonassola and today in Levanto. Our cooking skills, whose knowledge is given by the experience and the love for this work, always give great satisfaction to both us and our our customers. Our menu is based on fresh fished fish, selected personally every morning at dawn by Claudio and cleaned directly in the restaurant kitchen a few hours later, upon delivery. For this reason, the menu may vary depending on the catch of the day, as well as the price per kg which is fixed to the rod. Let us advise you when ordering for the best options. Our dishes and sauces are cooked when ordering and and we only use a few fresh and light ingredient, just to enhance the fish. Lella, Claudio and Fabio

“Upscale seafood retaurant”
Reviewed 26 September 2011

Offers primarily seafood in a modern and elegant setting. Dinner for two with a bottle of wine came to 90€. We started with the Insalata di Mare Mista which was excellent followed by the Trofie with Pesto which lacked a strong pesto flavor and was a little disappointing although this maybe the style of the local pesto. Next time I would try the trofie with mussels and clams. The wine list includes some excellent local moderately priced wines. Service and ambiance were excellent. Note that many of the entres require a minimum of two persons for the order, a disadvantage if you and your partner have different tastes. I would recommend you make reservations.

“Best in Levanto”
Reviewed 22 September 2011

Italian families filled the place--a good sign. Its speciality is seafood, so take advantage. Wait staff are helpfu. Pace of service was spot-on for a full Italian dinner: not too fast. Interior decor modern and airy.

“Bad choice for our last night in Levanto”
Reviewed 1 July 2011

I came across the restaurant on our first night in Levanto (Monday night) and it looked great. We went past it a number of times afterwards and it was closed. Our last night (Friday) it was open and we asked if they had a table. They were full in their main area (outside covered) and motioned that we could sit in the noisy area opposite the kitchen which we accepted.

We asked for Aperol and tonic, Campari and soda and a Campari and orange juice. All Camparis came out identical and when we repeated what we wanted, the waiter sighed, went off and on coming back said they had no orange juice and no soda! He offered us the neat Campari and Aperol complimentary. BUT not that we didn't want to pay but we wanted what we asked for.
When our order was taken, two tables had become free in the other area and I asked if we could be moved to there but was told that they were reserved. When we left they were still empty.
Food good, service levels poor. Pity- nice position and good decor

“One of the Best Meals I have ever had!!”
Reviewed 25 August 2010

To say this was one of the best meals I have ever had is saying a lot because I LOVE food. Reservations recommended because this place is popular with few tables. The Manager seated us and we just asked him to bring us whatever he recommended from appetizers, to wines, to entrees, to desserts. It was AMAZING. We ate here with my 1 year old daughter, and at one point the Chef came out and fed her the pesto pasta he made for her. Everyone was wonderful. We ended up taking a picture at the end with the staff.....Don't miss the owner's homemade limocello!!
