Pros: beautiful views, lovely pool area, tastefully and beautifully renovated, large rooms, excellent bathrooms, lovely fresh breakfast with eggs, fruits, pastries etc, well stocked bar fridge in the room, close to other touristy areas but away from the hustle and bustle, in a picturesque village.
Cons: there is no parking and one has to walk down about 100m of steps to get to the guesthouse. There is not always staff available to help with one's bags so pack lightly if you are not fit. One can get taxis or buses but having a car is an advantage.

My husband and I stayed here the first week of June this year. We love this hotel and shall return. The service is wonderful and the owners are very accommodating. We enjoyed Magdalena who helped us so much with all of our questions. Breakfast is lovely and is served on a spectacular Terrace outside with great views. The rooms are beautiful and modern. Its by far the most updated comfortable hotel in the entire area.
It has a pool and its situated close to the steps where you can walk down to the town of Amalfi.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful but ask for the junior suite or superior room with great window views.

Loved it hear. Great rooms and breakfast. Very good standard of food and accommodation. Pool very nice. Great place to relax and easy to get to Ravello, Amalfi etc by car / bus or walk if u fancy it. Couple of very good restaurants within 15 min walk in Scala also. Would return and recommend to others.

The Villa is in Minuta, which is near Scala and about ten minutes away from Ravello. If you don't have a car you will need to walk ten minutes to Scala where the buses are regular into Amalfi & Ravello. The walk is more challenging on the way back (uphill). There are three or four local restaurants, and a couple of other shops within walking distance, but there are 40 or so steps to and from the hotel, so factor this in. We stayed in the Fiordaliso suite, which is beautifully decorated and has a separate sitting/sleeping area (sofa bed). There are high end toiletries, air conditioning, tea and coffee as well as a reasonably priced mini-bar. The room was spotlessly clean. The pool is a delight (they provide fresh towels) but you will need to take your own drinks down with you. Breakfast was lovely, if a little sweet, but you just need to ask if you want some ham, cheese and omelette etc. The Fiordaliso suite does not have a balcony, but is immediately adjacent the beautiful roof terrace, which is almost all your own - and the views really are breathtaking. I cannot commend Marina enough, she really did go out of her way to be helpful, always smiling and delightfully pleasant and polite. We stayed a week and visited Ravello, Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii and Sorrento, all of which we did with the public transport (short bus journeys are euro 1.20, longer euro 1.80 and coaches to further afield around euro 8) the buses go from the main square in Scala and timetables are available in reception. You have to buy the tickets in advance from any tobacconist (there is one in Scala 100 yards from the main square). As a warning Taxis are VERY EXPENSIVE - we paid euro 50 for a 5 km journey from Amalfi to the hotel, genuinely felt totally ripped off. Apparently they are building some spa facilities and have plans for a cookery school at Palazzo Pascal. In summary we really had the best week, the place and the people are a delight, if you like it busy then probably not for you, but it really is an amazing place. We will be back!

The atmosphere is certainly magical as you walk down the stairs and through the Churchyard to the impeccably restored Amalfi palazzo. Once you are in, superb views of the coastline and Ravello open up.
It's the house you want spend time in, relax, reflect and admire the views. There is a lovely pool, sundeck and the palazzo is filed with selected books and well thought details where family's love for ceramics shines through. Service is understated and welcoming while all important details quickly taken care of from parking permit (rare luxury in Amalfi) to restaurant or visit recommendations. Ideal place to explore all Amalfi coast. We will come back.
