What a lovely spot to explore! Not really off the beaten path, but kinda. No crowds. My brother and I were the only ones on the tour that afternoon and really enjoyed the moment. We weren't hurried and got to take lots of photos and discuss the cave with the tour guide to our hearts content. Very comfortable environment for exploration with the guide turning on and off lights as we moved through the cave. It is cool so bring a jacket. It is a cave after all.

Was very clean, and had many activities for kids while camping. The pool was excellent. The Caverns was something close to do without driving.

After visiting Shenandoah Caverns in the morning, I was hoping Endless's visit would be equel. Where Shenandoah was well lighted in certain areas, Endless has a fifferent type of lighting. Shenandoah would have different colors for one stalactite/stalagmite, Endless has one light color, but the lighting felt softer.

Endless hass wide and narrow pathways. The walk is mostly dry. Any wet spots the guide pointed out well in advance and woulkd shine her flashlight on the wetness. The walk is mostly solid gravel and indoor/outdoor carpet.

Portions of the walkway have a three foot high railing. This is not because of any wet areas, rather to protect a visitor of a drop off. The consisted of another visitor, the guide and myself. She was able to answer all questions.

Endless Caverns is a NASCAR RV Resort camp ground. The cavern's parking lot is good size. Any size vehicle can be accommodated. If considing a stasy at the camp grounds, a person should call about sites. One reviewer stated that some roads are quite steep.

The tour starts from a stone entrance outside, ending under a staircase leading under the gift shop. There are rest rooms located under the gift shop.

After viewing all the photos I took, I woukd have to say Endless Caverns is equal to Shenandoah.I would recommend a visit. Would I visit again, probably in 10 years. I would want a fresh remembrance.

Tremendously intriguing. The stalactites seemed to be descending from everywhere. There was one part which seemed like we were looking into a pond of stalactites but it was the water coming from the ceiling in the cavern which created the illusion of the stalactites growing on the surface. It was howeve,r the reflection of the the stalactites up on the overhead.
