This place is lovely. It is a beautiful building wit lovely furnishings and courtyard garden. Breakfast was a treat to look forward to each day. What really makes this place special is Esther, the lady who manages it. She is so welcoming and helpful. She greeted us warmly and spent a good half hour helping orient ourselves to Granada and discussing things to do and places to eat. Throughout our 5 day stay, she checked in with us, helped make arrangements and was a great lady to get to know. My kids, who can be quite shy with strangers, quickly became comfortable with Ester and she graciously put up with them hanging around in the hammocks. This B and B is well worth the price, which is reasonable considering all you get.

We stayed at Casa Cubana for 4 nights in mid-February and enjoyed our stay. Esther is a wonderful host and well connected in the city. She arranged for us to be picked up from the Managua airport without a hitch and while we stayed at Casa Cubana she checked in with us daily to see how she could help us by arranging trips, recommending restaurants and even sending us to the best pharmacy. Our favorite excursion with the Isletas kayak tour with Vladimir. He was wonderful. Cook and housekeeper Hazel makes a delicious breakfast every morning complete with fresh squeezed juice.

The location of Casa Cubana is great. The town plaza is an an easy 10 minute walk. Casa Cubana has a small pool which we enjoyed daily as well as the hammocks and chairs throughout the interior of the property which allowed us to relax beyond our room and visit with other guest.

We stayed in the Ginger room which was spacious with a wonderful bathroom. The A/C worked nicely and there were ceiling fans as well. We did have a bit of nighttime noise for 2 of our 4 nights. There were people hanging out on the sidewalk on the other side of the wall to our room that sounded as if they were having a party and this party went on for hours. I know it frustrated Esther and she worked hard to get rid of them. Other than this disturbance I would recommend Casa Cubana without reservation.

Room Tip: We encountered street noise in the Ginger Suite so I would avoid that room if you are a very light sleeper.

Excellant accommodations in a great location. The Casa is within walking distance of the most interesting sites in Granada. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable.
Breakfasts were tasty with a local flare. The manager , Esther, was very personable and invaluable in helping us plan/book daily excursions. I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

Wonderful bed and breakfast perfectly located in beautiful Granada. Esther is an amazing hostess who always has great recommendations and advice about the area. Hazel makes delicious breakfasts and the rooms are huge and comfortable. There's even a small, refreshing pool in the courtyard. What's not to like? 5 stars without hesitation!

My husband and I stayed at Casa Cubana for the second leg of our vacation. Overall, it was our favorite place to stay during our entire trip. We stayed in the Saffron suite upstairs. Gorgeous four poster bed, nice seating area, comfortable rocking chair with seat pillow, desk with TV, clean walk in shower. The room comes with two ceiling fans and an AC, but there was such a nice breeze when we opened the balcony doors we hardly used them. My favorite part of the room was the two small balconies that open up to the view of the pool below. Also, great views of the star-laden sky at night. For breakfast, Hazel always cooked up something delicious. Yogurt with fruit and granola always, good cup of coffee, and freshly squeezed passion fruit juice. She switches it up- one day we had breakfast burritos, another we had omelettes, and etc. Of course our stay at Casa Cubana would not have been the same if it weren't for Esther, our awesome, warm and kind, gracious host. She helped us with restaurant recommendations, getting around the city, setting up transportation for us, etc. She went above and beyond. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Granada!
