Learning and fun all in the same place. Well worth the money for the time to spend doing fun things and learning with your children at the same time.

This is one of those place you can visit and find something to entertain everyone, especially on a rainy afternoon. It would be a regular stomping ground if the exhibits changed more frequently, but for the residents of the 'burg who have been there a million times for birthdays, field trips, and casual weekend visits it does get a bit monotonous. The kids never mind. They stay entertained for hours!

This place is awesome, it was sensory overload for the kids and us! Be sure that the kids are well rested before you go and they will be ready to take a nap when you leave!!!!!

My grandchildren had absolutely the best time enjoying nearly every tunnel and slide, helping batteaux down the James River, etc. Parking is close by, and the whole place is just delightful.

We took our three nephews (ages 3, 4, and 6) here and thought it was pretty cool! There are lots of interactive things for kids to do. The only downside was how easy it was to lose your kids! One of my nephews got away from us and scared me to death. We found him crying near the front door. I was disappointed that no one tried to help or comfort him. Wow! We don't have kids, but if I saw a kid crying I would certainly ask them if he/she needed some help. Wake up people. Other than that one incident, the kids had a great time.
