Wonderful place to stay and staff very friendly and helpful, very clean, beautiful well maintained main house and rooms and lawn. We stay here often. Delightful pool and easy walk into town . Very nice breakfast. Lexington is a great place to visit with a cute downtown district.

Lovely setting and good location. Easy to find on way into town. Everything in town is within walking distance of hotel so you can park the car and forget about it. Room and breakfast fine. Good service at reception desk.

Besides being an outstanding hotel from the perspective of room quality and service, the location was great. It was an easy walk to the center of town with lots of interesting restaurants, the Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetary and Stonewall Jackson house. Also it was close to Washington and Lee campus and VMI.

Rooms look just like a normal hampton inn but the grounds are what make this a fantastic place to stop. There is plenty of green space around the hotel and away from traffic for kids to run! There's also a swimming pool outside. Some of the rooms have balconies that overlook the pool. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast of omelets and potatoes with fresh fruit. Really enjoyed our stay. Lots of historical things to see nearby, within walking distance. Plenty of tables on the portico if you prefer to eat outside instead of the inside dining room.

We had a wonderful time at this location. We stayed two nights. The first night we walked into town for dinner and the second night we walked almost next door for Pizza. Love this hotel. It is clean, the staff is friendly, hot breakfast what more could you ask for.
