A nice hotel with big rooms,seperate sitting area with necessary amenities. The bathroom is bad,basin isolated outside,you should come out to wash your hands.Clean rooms.

Airport shuttle, newly developing area,no nearby restaurant or shop,feel isolated.
The reception is horrible,people with bad behavior.
I asked for a repair service,they did not do anything,wanted to file a complaint,no arrangement found,one person asked me to contact via email,moreover, another man gave me a white paper and asked to write complaint though seemed to me like a joke I have written my objections but no action was taken,so bad.
I would avoid the hotel for the service.

We normally stay at the Hyatt Place 21481 Ridgetop but was unable to secure a 2 Queen room so we chose the Herndon property. We checked in on June 29 and checked out July 02. After we checked in, I went downstairs around 2200 to request another tube of shampoo and was advised that Housekeeping was not in, their door was locked and I would have to wait until the following morning. On Saturday, we left the room at 1030 and returned at 2100 (9:00 pm). The room appeared to have been half done; one bed had the covers pulled over, the other appeared to have been made but then the covers pulled back as if someone climbed in and took a nap (my wife's observation). The toilet paper was not refilled (1 roll empty, the other only several sheets left), the rubbish was not removed, several dishes were left on the counter and the towels were not replaced. When we went downstairs to get extra room supplies and a Blanket, I received the same response that Housekeeping was not there and we would get the items the following morning at 0830, when Housekeeping clocked in. I advised them that I was checking out the following morning but only got, "I'm Sorry." This was very inconvenient and indicated for all intents and purposes that there is a conflict between their policies and procedures. This property should let their customers know that requests which require Housekeeping action are only available from 0830 - 1630. This would be truthful and not "If you forget or need anything, let us know and we will be glad to provide it". This is the last time we are staying at this property.

Great place to stay while doing business in the greater Wash Met area. Quite, clean and great staff. I come to the area 20 times a year and found this Hyatt Place to be a great value when comparing against other hotels.
