We were driving though Harrisonburg and needed a stop for dinner. The reviews for Corgan's Publick House made the choice easy, but we had some difficulty finding it in the middle of a strip center. The interior also lacked authentic, homey Irish Pub atmosphere, so we were starting to question those reviews. It was a Thursday night, so we were treated to very good live music from Jimmy (who did not take a break the entire time we were there) and $3 pints of Smithwick's and Bass. The rarebit appetizer, Cottage Pie and Chicken pot Pie were spot on and overcame the initial impressions. One of the best meals on our trip!
