It is nice diversity to have a Kabob choice but its not as spicy as it should be because of the customers. Will try again.

Lamb is my favorite Afghan dish, but I've avoided it lately from here. The kabobs are always tough. The chicken kabobs are usually tender. They're spare with the sauces so I always have to beg for an extra little cup! Same with the paintbrush of sauces on the meat. They just dab it. The gyros are generally to be avoided. This group is everywhere around here in malls, and pretty much consistent from mall to mall. Pricey, though!

Cooked to order. Huge portion. Delicious. Plenty of options. Love the bread and rice. Friendly staff. Chicken is juicy! Halal!

The food was "halal" , however, the taste was not so good. Pretty average. The Doner was huge with a huge staffing of the fake meet. But taste was below expectation and it just didnt tast very good. I would not go back. The setting is a food court in the Dulles Town Center..so it low cost food and in line with expectations at food courts.

Went here yesterday. The young man making the bread (and theoretically the kabobs) was talking on the cell phone. He didn't stop in the time I stood in line, ordered, and waited for the food. Cell phone in one hand, touching (yep, with his hands, no gloves) the bread with the other, sometimes with both (hey, what are chins for, after all). Here's a suggestion... put the cell phone away and do your job.
The person in front of me finally got her two orders, turned to walk away, turned back and asked for a different tub of sauce as there was hair in hers. There was. The cashier (who also filled the sauce tubs) said she didn't believe it was their hair. The woman had not even walked away yet. She never touched the hair (as the tray was in her hands), but asked if the woman could not see it. Yes, she could, the cashier said, but she didn't think it was theirs. The customer insisted she wanted a replacement and the cashier finally relented. Second suggestion.... the cost of that little tub of sauce is not worth the scene when other customers and potential customers are present. Wear a hairnet when filling the sauce tubs. Covering them is a good idea, as well.
Someone finally cut my gyros meat (yep, the guy was still on the phone and it seemed he could not be bothered, even when the order was announced to him by the cashier). Someone came from the back (yep, no gloves) to stir the peas and check on them.
For short, nothing seemed clean. Not the floor, not the counters, not the clothing the employees were wearing. Wondered what the Dept of Health would think.
I have eaten there before. The food there has been good and the portions large, but I will think twice before I go back now.
I don't know if Popeyes is owned by the same people who own the Grill Kabob, but a man twirling keys walked back and forth (from the back, so I assume through the kitchens) between the two. Don't know what he was doing in the two kitchens. He wasn't wearing a uniform, or gloves, so I don't know what that was about.
