We stayed prior to a flight. Easy access and hotel / room seemed in great shape. No sound issues from the airport right adjacent. Got an email from the manager outlining who would be there to assist me, which was a nice touch.

We stayed one night, as most guests do at this hotel. We received an email update the morning of our arrival, specifying the managers on duty and front desk staff who would be on duty at the time of our scheduled arrival later that afternoon. We checked in using the Marriott Mobile App and received an E-Key, allowing us to bypass the front desk and go immediately to our assigned room. The app can be scanned at the room door to unlock it!

As a Marriott Platinum member, we were afforded access to the Concierge Lounge in the evening. Excellent selection of cheese and fresh vegetable displays and two hot dishes, all served buffet style. The employees on duty there were professional and unobtrusive. Prior to that evening, the Lounge was available for soft drinks and bottled water and light snacks (chips, fruit, yogurt, etc.). Starbucks coffee!! Later that evening dessert was offered, but we were asleep in a wonderful bed!

The Concierge Breakfast buffet was great, offering anything a guest could need -- hot and cold cereals, fruits, breads and pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. The attendants were also professional and oversaw everyone's comfort -- keeping everything stocked.

Our room was everything an airport hotel on a world-class grounds could be. Complimentary shuttle running constantly, free parking for drive-ins, greeters in the lobby. The hustle and bustle of busy business travelers was evident throughout our 18-hour stay and the staff in all departments never missed a beat.

Housekeepers in the hallways were quiet and efficient, public areas were spotless (as was our room). The huge TV had a channel for everyone! We were never bothered by airplane noise.

Check-out was done with the same efficiency as check-in the previous day. The staff has been well-trained in the art of hospitality and professionalism. This is not a hotel for casual tourists visiting Washington with families, but for us and professional travelers, it was perfect. We will be back!

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the lobby area -- the halls are very, very long!

Okay; my big deal with airport hotels is they're rushed ... and I do mean rushed to the point of you're just one of a bunch going in and out. So no personal attention; no nothing at all. Airport hotels have no Soul - they're devoid of personal. Yes, that's true for this one, too.

However, I was hungry and not at all hopeful to get anything that Vegan-Me could eat at a place so busy and so focused on the 'mainstream traveler.'

To my pleasant surprise, the bar menu featured an appetizer - a Gardinerie - that was not only Vegan-friendly, but also delicious! And a large serving for inexpensive (that is it was inexpensive in airport dollars.) No moosh; veggies were crisp and lightly vinegar'ed with a bit of spicy heat. And served with a nice Vegan-friendly flat bread. Yep, I enjoyed it!

Room was fine; quiet and comfortable bed. Just one of ten zillion like it at the airport hotel.

What I'll remember is the Gardinerie when I was oh so hungry. Yes, I'll stay there again. Consider it too, for you my fellow Vegans. Enjoy!

Couldn’t be a more convenient location. Room prices are good, nice lobby restaurant and bar. Fitness center is small but adequate, ellipticals, tread mills, some free weights.

Rooms are quite and dark. Short shuttle to Dulles and metro access and Air and Space Museum.

Flew in on a late West Coast flight. Was picked up by Marriott Shuttle.
Shuttle driver was pleasant and helpful. Had a light dinner in the Aviator restaurant. Wait staff at 11:00 PM in the evening was polite and very friendly. Then off to bed. The beds and pillows are heavenly. Best pillows ever. Room was clean. Would definitely stay here again.
