Wife and I went to the Old Mill Room at the Boar's Head for dinner during restaurant week 2018. The special menu was very appealing and helped drive us to this venue for our night out. The food did not disappoint. I got the short ribs special which was exceptionally well prepared. My wife got the salmon special which she raved about. We both got the special salad - very nice presentation with the lettuce wrapped nigiri style with a cucumber slice. For desert, my wife got the flourless chocolate cake which she liked but my crème brulee was even better. Service was excellent (thanks Douglas and team). The dining setting was great - the place is about to be closed for a remodeling which concerns me a bit because they really can't make it much nicer.
