We were recommended this restaurant by our B&B but we were told it was a favorite with locals and we needed to make reservations. The restaurant was indeed crowded and we were not disappointed in the food, which featured local and fresh ingredients and was creatively prepared. However, the service was slow both times we dined at the restaurant. We had to wait an hour both times we dined here despite having reservations. This was not the fault of the wait staff who were courteous and attentive. We were on vacation and we ate here at the end of our day of touring so we tolerated the long wait.

Really cool place, with tons of flavor in their foods. Packed so a true local place. The music was a little loud especially if you want to have a conversation, but all good! Fun place and the Amtrac still stops there....so cool!

Ate here twice during our 3-nite stay in Windsor. They've done a marvelous job of turning an old railway depot into a fine dining establishment. The food is excellent -- the best fried calamari (marinated in buttermilk) we've ever had -- as was the service. And the price was surprisingly modest. A must-have experience on any visit.

Stayed at local Snapdragon Inn, which is a short walk away. Cute old train station. Reasonably priced food. Decent beer list. Not gourmet but we enjoyed ourselves with burgers and fries.
