“perfect haddock, easy on the fries, worthy donut and pancakes”

The fried haddock "boat" (with coleslaw and fries) arrived at the classic booth in this expanded classic diner on Main Street. Lightly coated, tender, juicy, and tasty, the haddock was perfect and ample. We'll come back for more. Fries were good enough to enjoy given the setting but not on their own a reason to travel. The blueberry pancakes? Great enough (light with a hint of vanilla and not too sweet) to take home with the small dose of Vt maple syrup. Plus Windsor Main Street is a good place to walk off a few calories.

We saw this old fashioned diner and new we had to try it. We saw it on the local news channel show. We were glad we went in. Food was great we had fresh coffee cinnamon bread French toast pancakes home made hash and homemade toast. All was wonderful. Staff was Great! CASH ONLY! But there is an Atm inside.

Food was good. Needed some salt. Service was good, but she was alone and busy! The maple bread pudding, however, should be at the top of everyone’s list. This was absolutely delicious. Keep in mind this is as CASH ONLY place, so plan accordingly.

What a cool little spot for a meal. The ladies are friendly and it's a nice casual car diner built in 1952
