This inn is quaint, quiet, clean, very affordable, super close to Stowe Mountain, and has a great staff.
If you are looking for these qualities then look no further. This place isn't a hotel and could use some updates but I loved the charm of it and the rooms were larger than normal hotel rooms. They offer complementary home cooked breakfast each morning and that was a huge plus for us because we didn't have to stop for breakfast before hitting the slopes.
Rooms have microwave and mini refrigerator, hot showers, bath robes (great for a hot tub dip), and warm rooms.
I was never cold even though it was freezing outside.
Hot tub was amazing for my sore muscles after 8 hrs of skiing. Temp was 105 and the hot tub (there are two) were outside where temps were in the teens. They do have one inside but I never used it.
I definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.
Cons: beds are not very comfy but that's my only complaint. And when you are beat it doesn't really matter anyhow because I fell asleep within minutes so I only noticed the bad mattress for about 5 minutes and woke up each morning just fine.
