Stayed here in the middle of a loop through Vermont and the Adirondacks. Least impressive of the places we stayed. The room was a bit musty and redolent of some kind of cleanser. The floor in the breakfast room was sticky; the staff were discussing it openly while doing nothing about it. Orange juice was so watered down as to be a joke. Nice location and the restaurant next door was convenient, but we'll look elsewhere.

Research the area for an overnight hotel during an Open House Weekend at Champlain College. Most were $175 to $200. This property had a special for $135 and was reviewed well on Tripadvisor. The check in was friendly, the room comfortable and the b'fast was included. The coffee pot and hair dryer (the hook to the wall) in room needed repair but overall nice stay. We brought our bathing suits to take advantage of the pool, but there was just not enough time to fit it in-- but it looked nice. For price, location and service would recommend for another stay. Location was away from downtown, but so close to make it convenient.

Room Tip: Interesting because it is on a hill-- the 3rd floor could be the first if in the back of the hotel

Stayed here because I had some club points earned from a business trip. My wife were in town to visit family in Shelburne. The location of the hotel is convenient.

Highlights of the hotel:
* Great breakfast buffet including hard boiled eggs, cereals, pancakes, bacon, hot sweet rolls, etc
* Room was clean, linens were good condition
* Friendly staff made me feel very welcome at check-in
* Internet was fast and easy to access

Downsides:
* Floor of our room was very squeaky. If you stepped anywhere it let out a loud squeak.
* Our room was equipped with a jacuzzi/tub, which my wife accidentally found out was extremely loud when she was trying to figure out how to turn on the bathroom fan.
* Shower/tub needs some TLC - some caulk is missing and it looks like they are starting to have a mold problem. This really needs to be taken care of.
* Thru-wall air conditioning unit was quite loud when it kicked on at night.

Stayed 2 nights in April with the kids and evrything was ok. the pool and jacuzzi are nice but in need of a bit of TLC; the room was clean everything worked as it should. the heating AC unit was really noisy though. the breakfast room was busy but there was room for everyone and the food was good. I like this area of Burlington as a hotel location, close to shopping and restaurants and the highway is just moments away.

This is an acceptable hotel. The common areas were nice and clean and the room was very big, new TV, etc. There was plenty of room for two people with double-beds (that were of average comfort). I stayed during a busy weekend in the area but felt that room costs of $159 to $189 a night were very high for this level of hotel.

The fitness center is an area that needs significant improvement. For hotels that tout convenience factor, it's a joke, actually. There were four machines, two very old. No weights. And it was exceptionally hot in the room. One treadmill was broken with an error message, one was in need of repair as it could not gain proper speed. A stair-stepper was actually dangerous as it malfunctioned every couple of minutes causing one side to drop rapidly which actually could injure the user's back. The fourth machine was very old with worn-off buttons. I had to stop after a few minutes and ultimately worked out outside.

The staff was pleasant and efficient. I didn't speak with them too much, but the person with whom I shared a room had a very difficult time getting the 24-hour shuttle to pick her up from the airport at midnight. She called multiple times and the front desk insisted that there was no one with my name or hers on record. After calling other hotels and much confusion, the staffer finally looked in the right location and the shuttle was sent.
