My husband and I have stayed at Marge's many times. Once we filled all four rooms with family. This is a B&B like no other because you make your own breakfast - from a refrigerator full of goods things and a fesh baked loaf of bread. There are warm chocolate cookies for a late night snack. But the greatest warmth comes from Marge herself and her hospitality. Just one caution: The bathroom is shared and on the first floor. Bedrooms are on the second floor.

I have stayed at Marge's B&B many times ... it is a home-away-from-home, and it became so the very first time I walked into the kitchen! Marge leaves fresh baked brownies and cookies that you cannot resist, as well as bread and other bakery delights. The refrigerator always has bacon and eggs, cereal and more ... you make your own breakfast at your own time and pace! The B&B is Vermont-decorated with quilts and touches of Marge's art ... I feel like I'm home when I'm there! And to top it all off: there is Marge. Delightful, welcoming, funny -- a fabulous Vermonter!

We ‘fell into’ this delightful B&B when we could not find any reasonably priced accommodation in White River Junction (due to school event at nearby Hanover). An easy drive up the I89 from White River Junction to Sharon and following easy directions (in the dark) we located the B&B. We were very warmly welcomed by Marge, shown around the home, offered homemade cake and cookies and we settled in for the night. At $40 per person we thought it was wonderful value for such quality, comfortable accommodation.

The B&B has four guestrooms. Guests have full use of the house consisting of a big country kitchen, dining room, large living room (TV), reading room, bathroom and four bedrooms upstairs. On request the guests may also use the laundry facilities. The house was very well heated and our bedroom was very spacious and attractive with two sets of windows overlooking the valley and fields. All comforts were considered with good bedside reading lamps, soft linen, tissues, extra quilts etc.

This is a working farm with extensive trails, maple sugar trees, cows etc. We were given a tour of the three level historical barn (1917 I think) – fascinating.

For breakfast there was a fully stocked kitchen – just help yourself. Every bit of kitchen equipment you might need, big choice of cereal, eggs, bacon and fruit. We also were given delicious home made fruit loaf to take away for our morning coffee break.

We shared the one bathroom with one other guest. She had stayed there several times and said she had never had to ‘share’ before. If you are traveling in a family group this well located property would be an ideal choice but as a couple we felt very comfortable and greatly enjoyed our stay. We are looking forward to using the B&B as a base when we next return to Vermont
