Greg and Sharon along with Theresa made us feel right at home. Sharon prepared incredible selections for breakfast (our favorite was the sweet biscuits with maple bacon). Our room was delightful, bright and warm with a marble fireplace and the most comfortable bed imaginable. We just loved the warmth of the hosts and the beautiful setting across the street from the town's village green. To top it off the Marble Mansion is a short walk from a great restaurant.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the village green are brighter and cozier.

We recently stayed here and was blown away by the architecture of the building, made out of marble blocks!!

Hosts were great and we spent a couple of hours chatting.

Breakfast was delicious, ask for the bacon!!

We would return when we are back in the area

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Jane Austin room at the Marble Mansion. The room was adorned with lovely antiques and had a peacock motif. Cable TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a ceiling fan were also included. Greg and Sharon, our hosts, were very gracious and accommodating. Greg informed us of the history of the Marble Mansion which was built in 1867. Each guest room is named after a classic author. The breakfast provided was delicious and plentiful. At the time of our stay, the breakfast provided included Belgian waffles, a delicious egg and cheese souffle, maple bacon, assorted fruits and juices, cereal and coffee or tea. We hope to return for another visit in the near future.

We stayed one night at the Marble Mansion on our way through Vermont. We were not disappointed. Beautiful, historical home, free wifi, comfy beds, quiet, well decorated and last but not least the best breakfast ever. We had thick cut maple bacon (drooling already), egg soufflé, Belgian waffles, fresh berries, amazing homemade scones with local jams. Oh and as much juice, tea or coffee as you can stand. The hosts were so nice and the grounds were beautiful. It is across the street from the village green, which provides for a quiet scene to gaze upon. Only regret we had is not being able to stay another night. We will be back!

Wonderful stay at the Marble Mansion Inn. Very comfortable bed + linens and excellent Wi-Fi. Breakfast was delicious, perfect cheese soufflé and the best maple glazed thick slab bacon ever. Highly recommended!
