What a wonderful stay we had at Berkson Farms! Located on a huge amount of beautifully kept land, surrounded by mountain views, on a quiet road where the only noise you can hear at night is the gusting wind. Stunning sunsets. Kind of magical.

Lisa is the perfect host, very friendly and accommodating and not overbearing. Her breakfasts. Are. Amazing. We're talking warm, gooey cinnamon buns, buttery pancakes with syrup from their farm, glistening bacon, fresh coffee and juice. I have never wanted to wake up more than to the promise of another feast of eggs, sausage, and glazed apple cake. A farm-foodie's dream!

Perfect place to really truly get away from it all.

Lisa who runs the b and b was a delight to deal with. This came across in her emails prior to the visit. The b and b has five guestrooms (I believe). We stayed in the largest and only one with an ensuite bathroom. The smaller rooms had more character and were decorated better than the large room. The common room is large and tidy. The breakfast area is nice and the breakfasts are very good. Lisa kept bringing food out. One morning we had banana nut pancakes and the next day French toast. This is along with fresh coffee cake, cereals, fruit etc. Lisa does a fantastic job. You can walk around the farm and in the adjoining woods. This is a great location as it is quiet and only a few miles from shops and restaurants. This is a great place to stay if you are interested in biking/hiking the Missiquoi trail.

The room we stayed in and bathroom are in need of a makeover. There is a tv with very limited reception. It's time for the owner to fix the exterior of the house (when you drive up you immediately notice shutters falling apart and a bit of a hodgepodge mess) and update some of the interior.

The price is right and I would definitely recommend staying at Berkson Farm.
