We stopped in on our way out to Boston to pick up breakfast sandwiches. They were soooo good! Make sure you ask for VT cheddar, and I added tomato, which is just the best with a fried egg sandwich. The staff is super nice, very accommodating to my requested substitutions. My husband proclaimed his to be the best breakfast sandwich he ever had! Next time we'll call in if we have a to go order, as it did take a while- but worth the wait!!

All the nostalgia and expectations for a "diner" are delivered here. Formerly run by Kate and Thom and now taken over by the long time head chef, this place hasn't skipped a beat. On the weekends there might be a bit of a wait but there is ample parking and it's worth it! Breakfast and lunch items are all top notch diner perfection. You will not be disappointed.

Just returned from a motorcycle touring holiday in the USA. On Sunday 16th July my lady partner and I were on a 200 mile ride from Manchester VT to Hampton NH. We pulled in here on the bike for breakfast. Turned out to be great food and very reasonable price. The fact there were so many customers in there we assumed locals use it too. Highly recommended. Service was friendly and quick, a good roadside stop for weary travelers with or without children. My grilled muffin was fresh and light, not the dry brick you might expect from a popular chain. The homemade hash was as authentic as it gets- just the way aunty used to make. Frequent travelers to Vermont take note; not only is this diner located near attractions and main routes, but it had an impeccably clean restroom, and that alone makes it a gem in the heart of the Green Mountain State.
