We stopped here on our way to Okemo Mountain and had the best dinner ever. The Bangers and Mash were surprisingly good - the most delicious sausage ever!!! The mashed potatoes are creamy and so wonderful. My spouse had the Chicken Pot Pie which was also spot on! It had a very flaky crust on top and the chicken was moist with some carrots and potatoes.

Beer is great on tap - lively waitresses and just a fun place to stop for dinner or lunch. They have a great selection of beers.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch today -- not to mention the Scottish beer (she the Belhaven Scottish Stout and I the Belhaven Twisted Thistle). The Cock-a-leekie soup was outstanding, as was "The Works" burger (with blue cheese). My wife's salad looked delicious. And for dessert, we shared what just might have been the best bread pudding I have ever had. Extensive menu of traditional Scottish foods.

We went for a family dinner and have two toddlers. As soon as we walked in, we got the "why are there kids here" looks. There wasn't even a children's menu. When we asked if they could just give them plain pasta with butter, they complained that they would have to boil water. When we got our meals, someone asked it there were any rolls. The waitress came back with a basket of plain white bread, which was fine... until we got the bill. I kid you not, they charged us $2 per slice of bread for a total of $12!!! We complained and they took two slices off. And the plain pasta with butter? They charged us $12 per child. Our meals were good, but I would never go back as a family.

We have been coming to MacLaomainns for the past 6 years. We have loved every single visit. We are from Long Island but we visit VT often for skiing. We happened upon this Scottish Pub during one of our trips and fell in love immediately. Great beer, fantastic food and wonderful people. The decor is warm, welcoming and VT cozy. The food is exactly what you need after a cold day on the mountain. Don't pass up the opportunity to enjoy some authentic Scottish fare!

We enjoyed this bar/restaurant completely. Owner and staff very friendly but the food is fantastic. Many good craft beers on tap, the haggis was exceptional as was the cock a leekie soup.
