We went here in September, 2017. Our guide was a friend who had been there many times and he was shocked that there were not more buffalo on the drive into the Garr ranch, but they were just in other areas of the park. Even without lots of buffalo, the drive to the ranch is pretty, and the walk around the ranch is interesting! We drove back north and then west and saw lots of buffalo that we took tons of pictures of, and also antelope which were fun to watch and beautiful animals! We walked out onto the "beach" to the water's edge, and it was very interesting to see the different varieties of plant life, sand, and rocks. The view was great, and some birds flew in that were fun to watch. All in all, a beautiful drive and scenery and wildlife. I know there is even more to the park, and our friend who lives in SLC goes there often.
