Cons: The rooms are quite small with only showers, no bathtubs: inconvenient to bathe a baby or small child. There is a sink and mirror next to a small alcove with a toilet and large shower, separated from the sink area by a pocket door. Also, our room had a chair parked against the locked door to an adjacent room, which made the situation more cramped than I liked.
Although the beds were clean and comfortable, there was a large, unsightly stain on the carpet between them. The WiFi is unsecured, which was the reason several family members decided not to stay here but found other accommodations.
Our room had just a small wardrobe to hang clothes, no closet.
Every area shown in the on-line photos (the breakfast buffet area, for example) is MUCH smaller than they appear in the photos. I was very surprised when I walked in and saw how very small the lobby area was compared how it seemed in the photos.
The hotel has two stories and no elevator. If you have heavy luggage, you might want to stay elsewhere, or make sure you are on the ground floor.
Access to the hotel is not the most convenient I've seen, you have to go the long way around to get to it, but it is right off the I15 exit. Leaving the hotel, access to I15 is fine as long as the traffic on the S. Jordan Parkway is not too bad.
Breakfast buffet is cramped and unattended, but they do have waffles! and bacon, no eggs in the warmer. Had to ask to get the empty warmer and other food refilled. They had two choices of sugary cereal and little in the way of healthy food, but as I said, they had waffles!
The "fitness center" is a tiny room with a big mirror, one treadmill, and a stationary bike.
We did not visit the pool area.
Pros: Low cost and our bed was comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows. Fine if you just need a reasonably priced place to sleep for the night. But for the stained carpet, the room seemed relatively clean and included iron and ironing board, hair dryer, microwave, and mini fridge.
