This place has great Mexican food. It is attached but not associated with the Red Lion hotel. My wife and I ordered the smothered burrito, her's the sweet pork and mine the carnitas. Both were excellent. the green source was the best. I appreciated the refried beans. They had flavor and texture. Some places the refried beans have the consistency of baby food, not these. Natalie our server was extremely helpful since this was our first visit. Only criticism is that the place is brighter than a Denny's and has a very limited bar selection. But if you are near St George And want Mexican food, this is the place.

We really enjoyed the food, especially the salsa and fajitas. The restaurant is situated next to the hotel lobby (not a very nice hotel). We almost didn't pick the restaurant due to its location, but we're glad we did. We will definitely be back!

St. George has a slew of average Mexican restaurants, but this is definitely above the rest. The food is presented well. The quality is good and you can see some items and ingredients sprinkled throughout the menu that show they're trying to be better than the rest.

The atmosphere inside is not the greatest, but they're handcuffed by being in the Red Lion Hotel where the space is used in the morning for the free breakfast.

If this was in a large metro it might be overshadowed, but in St. George it's a star.

red and green iguanas in salt lake are both highly rated and very popular restaurants. When we saw the green iguana sign we immediately decided to give it a try. It is not owned by the same people and the food was mediocre at best. At the time it was not listed on TripAdvisor as it was too new. We left very unhappy and have not returned since. It seems that it was easy September 2016 when we ate there and it had only been open less than a week. They are not affiliated with green iguana in Salt Lake and the food isn't even close in taste, quality or service. The service may be much better now but at the time the manager had to supervise the waiters and point out where service was needed and even assist them. We were very disappointed but the place has a captive cliental as it is in the red lion hotel.

This was attached to the hotel we stayed in so it was close. Servers were very friendly, explaining the crazy liquor laws of Utah. Food was pretty good and fair priced. Service was fast. I recommend having your ID if you want a alcohol drink. They checked everyone, even people who looked to be in their 60s. Definitely will return if we stay here again.
