“Try to visit during training sessions”
Reviewed 3 April 2012

The Olympic legacy includes 2 small areas memorializing the 2002 Olympics and the history of skiing. I found the Olympic are on the top floor most interesting. This sports park was the site for several venues during the 2002 Olympics and is now a year round training center for members of the US team andothers who come to train here. In the summer the freestyle skiers practice ending up in a pool. The jumpers l and on artificial turf. They have added a zip line and bobsled on wheels for the summer. I would suggest calling to get the training scedule and visit during those times if possible.

“Visiting the Winter Sports Park is definately worth the time.”
Reviewed 27 March 2012

The U.S. Winter Sports Park is definately worth a stop if you have the time. The Park is where the Ski Jump and Bobsled competions were held during the Salt Lake Winter Games. The facility has two small free museums that provide information on the Salt Lake Games and the history of Winter Sports in Utah respectively. Outside the buildings are the Ski Jump and Bobsled facitilites. If you visit in winter you have a good chance of catching some training action. The reception desk at the museum has a very accurate list of who is practicing what sport and at what time they are practicing. We were able to catch the tail end of Skeleton and Bobsled practice. Seeing a Bobsled run is worth the effort! It was an experience I will never forget!

“Fun and Games”
Reviewed 4 March 2012

Get up close and personal with the Olympics. A fabulous place to play and watch the experts play. I love being able to try out the bobsled run. Not daring enough yet for the ski jump; maybe someday.

Great spot to watch the athletes (or in my case, my kids) train. Cafe has wonderful coffee, sandwiches, and baked goods.
