We stayed two nights. Surprisingly gourmet yet healthy breakfasts. Evenings were primarily spent outside sitting and talking on the expansive comfortable covered front porch/veranda. Gary and Claire could not have been more hospitable. One huge perk is that they make sure coffee is available to enjoy while watching the dawn. We were the only ones that took advantage of it... but the dawns were pretty excellent.
We went during an unseasonably hot June. The stone house with thick walls (and no air-conditioning) was crazy cool and quite comfortable. When entering the house it really felt like it had hiding somewhere. I'm glad to see that there are now several pictures posted that help demonstrate just how unique this BnB is. It was a great unique lodging experience that we won't soon forget!
I feel incredibly lucky to have found it, since it's not listed on Tripadvisor as a place to stay when at Monument Valley. If you're going into Monument Valley for a Navajo guided tour. then set aside 45 minutes to comfortably meet up with your guide. Everybody will tell you 30 minutes - but don't believe them.More
