went to the festival of light which is held after thanksgiving to christmas time.
they decorate with lights and have an open pit bonfire with hot chocolate you can buy which was good.
they also have their regular souvenier shop which is fun with alot of interesting things.
you can also buy a ticket to the theatre for a live nativity which was ok, but i enjoyed the lights ect part more
they also have a small train all lite up you can ride on and carriage ride.
it was neat beacuse this theatre is out by itself away from lights so it is really bright and a beautiful place to visit anyway with the red rock.
it is free to see the light and visit , but the live nativity was 10.00 a family, the train ride and carriage ride cost about 3.00 person.

during the rest of the year they have a variety of outdoor plays ect set against the redrock backdrop

Attending the play "Guys & Doll" at Tuacahn in August, 2004. The play was delightful, with good actors and a great setting.

We had the pre-play dinner recommended to us, and we would not choose to eat here again. The food was a dutch-oven dinner, served with roast beef, beans, potatoes, salad, and peach cobbler. The quality of the food was average.

Our main complaint involves the setting -- you eat outdoors, on picnic tables, which would be fine except for the huge swarm of insects that wanted our food. I'm not an insect expert, but they were hornets or yellowjacks, and we literally had to shoo them off every bite we ate. In addition, they were climbing into the cups of lemonade that were served along with the dinner. We were both afraid of eating one by accident, and getting the inside of our mouth stung.

When I first was on my way to Tuacahn, I thought how could you possible enjoy a play here, but as I was suprised, the Amphitheatre is set into the beautiful Red Utah moutains, with a creek running in the back with a waterfall, I enjoyed the play so much I make plans every summer to go see what they put on, They serve a wonderful dinner and dessert right before the plays, too! They usually do musicals but they are excellent!
You never know what is going to happen, I mean they have lit the stage on fire and flooded the stage, Tucahn also is a school for the performing arts! It is a fabulous experience! I would highly reccomend it!
