Bought a Groupon for this resort for half off for a room. Paid $65.00… to assert I bought a $130.00 room for $65.00. This is pertinent because the room I was given was considered a "hotel room" Room 2014
Looking at the rates for this room and the season it states $108.00 weekend, $104.00 weekday for the “hotel room”...NOT half off, nor was it’s neither a studio room $118.00 nor a one bedroom style at 148.00 to158.00 a night.

Issues with the room:
First off the room smelled odd almost musty, when walking in the door
Was one of the smallest rooms I have ever seen in for the price or so called price
Bed was hard
Walls were very dusty
Nicks, chips and dents on the wall by the sliding glass
Cabinet/armoire was old scratched, hinges loose doors do not match up definitely shown its age
Nightstands were scuffed/chipped badly
Carpet smelled bad and was dingy
Curtains were dusty
Having a door to an adjoining room? Was tacky
Small old style TV with VCR of all things
TV remote had duct-tape holding in the battery
Could not dial out with the phone
No emergency evacuation plans posted
Coffee maker was broken; open it to put in a filter and it fell apart
And finally, while walking around outside we noticed the stone work on the building has been falling off and it has been repaired in many areas with what I can tell is epoxy caulking glue....not mortar....very tacky
No comment about the pool and Jacuzzis…We did not try them.
I can honestly say the bathroom was rather nice, clean, modern...if I could have dragged the mattress in there....
I have stayed in rooms from Vancouver to Scotland and this is the worst place I have ever lodged in.
Before receiving my room I asked the desk clerk about events since I am in charge of a large Scottish style gathering in October and we are looking for accommodations for the second weekend...after my stay I would not recommend this place, I would be too embarrassed to have people from all over North America stay here. This is not the best of Utah
Groupon was not worth it.

The condo was a one-bedroom, with a full kitchen, and two patios to the inside area facing the pool. It was very clean, furnished nicely, and was everything we had expected. On Tuesday evenings, all summer, they provide entertainment out on their deck. We enjoyed listening to the singer and keyboard player. There is underground secure parkiing, too. The surrounding area is great because it's within walking distance to the Jordenelle State Park where there is a beach and good swimming area. Everyone at the lodge was very nice and immediately helpful when asked anything. The desk manager, Amy, was exceptionally helpful when we asked for assistance in getting around the area and to specific attractions. We couldn't ask for more!

We were given this stay by family in the form of a Groupon. Had originally planned on staying at the Homestead in nearby Midway.......and we were happy with our stay here. Upon reviewing rates, this place is a good value. Not a lot of frills but the scenery is fantastic, hot tubs and pool were very clean, big and friendly. Room was a tad small but when you're up here you are out all day in Park City or utilizing all of the outdoor activities (winter or summer). We came up here to rent a boat on Jordanelle Reservoir and did so from Jordanelle Rentals (great people there, too). The air conditioning wasn't functioning and upon inquiring with management, they explained that it had snowed as recently as the previous week and they hadn't turned it on as of yet. Not a big problem as we just opened the door and the cold night air helped cool down the room for a great night's sleep. Previous reviews of the beds are a bit harsh.......but the beds are not top quality (Like Hampton Inn's). Shower worked great. TV's are miniscule and old......but again, you're probably not staying here to watch TV in your room. Quirky hours for the front desk so be aware of that, too. Convenient underground parking. We definitely plan on another stay here in the future.

We booked 6 rooms all 2 bedrooms with 3 baths. We did this for 2 nights. We had such a fun time. Each of our children had their own rooms with full kitchen for their independence. The outdoor seenery was great and each morning I took the grandchildren on a nature walk to see what was roaming around, we saw squirls, deer, lizards and a variety of birds. Then one evening we barbqued by the pool, had a pinata for the little ones, and played games with everyone. We had so much fun at their large pool, hot tubes and really enjoyed taking the boats down to the Jordenell river (3 minutes away) for boating, watersking, and playing on the beach and enjoyed a lunch at their picnic facility at the beach.
It was one of our funnest family summer get-to-gethers. We are going again this year, and understand they have a great resturant. It's a secluded resort, yet 10 minutes from everything you would ever need. THe staff was wonderful, curtious and helpful.

Room Tip: JUst ask! They are very good to work with.

Had a two night stay over easter weekend. Overall it was a bad stay. Had problems with room rate changes done by the hotel, and their “after-hours” offsite reservation office; only talk with the hotel, if you stay here. However, beware, all the office personal have a very difficult time being courteous to guess, you will often be made to fell you are putting them out. The walls of the hotel were filthy, and beds like rocks! The last night we stayed there we ended up leaving at 2:00 am, because of a domestic violence issue across the hall from our room. The worst part is everyone at the hotel leaves for the night, so we were left to call the police ourselves, let them in, etc...it was very uncomfortable, mainly because we have small children. We left the hotel for there sake. I personally would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: Keep driving down the road to another hotel!

Thank you for taking the time to talk with us directly prior to us posting this response. You and your family joined us for our first annual FREE Egg Hunt which drew over 400 people. Although there was a great deal of festivities during that afternoon our housekeeping staff made sure to follow it with the deep cleaning routine.

The terms and conditions of the voucher you used indicated that it was valid for use on a hotel room. Although this was the case it was very important to our staff to service any misunderstanding. Our staff wanted to pay for your upgrade out of pocket. We of course thanked him for his graciousness and covered the upgrade through the property level instead.

It is unthinkable that we would have a guest that would cause such a problem and we apologize for this. That individual is not welcome at our property due to the reported incident. We do not take situations like this lightly. Per our conversations you have confirmed our compensation to be acceptable for your experience. Although we are a condominium hotel with limited front desk hours, all of our guests do have access to our 24 hour live assistance desk by pressing 0 on their in-room phone. This is available to report any emergencies or maintenance issues once the property front desk is closed. We do thank you for your response and action.
