There were three of us who were out to celebrate a friend's birthday and we got there just as they were closing. Ms. Melhem-Kuri was gracious enough to ask the assistant cook to turn on the stove again and we were quick to make our menu selections. As we waited for the food, Ms. Melhem kept us quite entertained as we shared experiences of our pasts in Mexico. Our food was average due to it lacking a bit more flavor. The falafel sandwich was rather dry; we are used to it having a dressing. The stuffed cabbage rolls were rather small and a bit bland; the vermicelli rice was very good, though. The cucumber water was also very refreshing and great-tasting. She also treated us to some "empanadas" although she'd asked the cook for some baklava but there was no more.
