Diesel, Paul and Heather...what a crew! Diesel is the Dolphin Ambassador and is really devoted to his "job" and he's great at it! He calls the dolphins and here they come! Was interesting to see how the dolphins responded to him...they also responded to the big dolphin tour boats by disappearing as the boats sped by so quickly. Our intimate experience allowed us to spend time in areas where there were more dolphins. BTW when the big ships left, the dolphins came back! Amazing to see! We went on this excursion two times and will definitely go again when we return next year! Paul and Heather are very conscious about the waters, we picked up some trash, including a trash can that was in the water! They've also worked with bird conservation and are very knowledgeable about birds in the area which added to the trip. I so highly recommend connecting with Paul, Heather and Diesel. This is truly a heart-based business. All three of them have a passion for what they do and love to share their knowledge and love of the dolphins, birds and the environment with others. Don't bother booking another cruise. Take this one that will be truly wonderful, more intimate and flexible in going where the dolphins are. Just DO IT!!! You'll be sooo happy you did!!!

We had a wonderful experience on our hour and a half dolphin tour!! Paul and Heather were very friendly and very knowledgeable and it was nice to be on a smaller tour. We saw tons of dolphins and many approached the boat on their own to show off for us and say hi to Diesel. Diesel was just tons of fun, he takes his job as dolphin ambassador very seriously. Would highly recommend this tour!!! We also saw quite a few birds and it was just nice to be out on the water.

To see wild dolphins, especially with their young ones, in their natural element, they need to totally trust their surroundings. Trust Captains Paul and Heather with their dolphin-loving dog Diesel to take you to witness first hand these beautiful creatures at sea. We think Diesel and the dolphins actually speak to each other because Diesel spots them every time!

My wife and I with our 2 children and their 2 friends saw how the dolphins totally trust them with how relaxed they swam near and around the catamaran. What a cool experience while visiting South Padre!

Diesel, Heather and, Paul have created a truly unique dolphin tour experience. During our 1 1/2 hour tour, it was easy to get immersed and caught up in the excitement, this dynamic trio brings. They have an obvious love and passion for the dolphins as well as for the Laguna Madre Bay which they readily share. This tour experience is not only unique due to their knowledge but also because of its intimate nature. Since we were such a small group, we were able to move around and get an up-close view of the dolphins who really seemed to know this trio well. Moreover, the dolphins seemed to desire to connect with them and by extension with us. During our tour, the dolphins were active and engaged, and at times seemed to actually be playing with Diesel. I would definitely recommend Fins and Feather and if I'm ever in the area again will certainly sign up for the longer tour. Not to be missed.

The wife and I have seen dolphins at the aquarium and on the Bolivar Ferry, but we've never experienced anything like this! Paul and Heather have developed a real relationship with the dolphins, which were active and plentiful. The dolphins appeared to recognize their boat, and even hid behind it when other charters moved in. Diesel (the dog and expert dolphin spotter) was having a ball talking (barking) with the dolphins, which seemed to enjoy the discussion. Paul and Heather genuinely care for the dolphins and their guests. This is a trip we don't regret, and you won't either.
