I found this course on line and have been traveling 20 or so miles to play golf. This was a great experience, the folks were very friendly and willing to help. The course was in good shape except for the sand traps, most were unplayable. From mud to a standing water. The fairways were in great shape and the greens were very well maintained and very smooth and true to the roll.
I liked the course and would and will play again.
To improve the playability I would recommend having each tee block marked with it's number and that would help the first time players.
Great experience and was extremely pleased.

This course was making such marked improvements but something happened. They have now lost most of their greens. I hear they fired the greenskeeper. No wonder. Many of the holes you are just putting on sand or dirt. And, when they do have some grass on the holes that are really bad...they put the pins there. Had more than on put that just came to a sudden stop because sand was about 1/2 inch deep...on a green...really? To make matters worse, many golfers see bad greens and they don't put any effort into taking care of the rest of the course. Lots of unfilled divots and bunkers with footprints everywhere and no one bothering to rake them.

The people here are really nice, and the greens fees are very reasonable, but the pace is almost unbearable. A recent round seemed to be more waiting than playing. The group in front of us fell way behind, hitting multiple balls, and taking an excruciatingly long time on each hole. There was no marshall to speed them up- an early round took 5 hours, so I can only imagine an afternoon round. If you play here stick to very early tee times.
