Set in the Parque Santiago II complex (possibly the smallest and quietest - there are currently six), it is close to all amenities, the beach, taxis, buses, bars and restaurants. There is a small supermarket within the complex. The house is extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean, and was perfect for our stay (four family members in three generations). Towels and bed linen were provided although neither were of a good quality and the two fans in the apartment (only one in full working order) were just not enough. There was problem with the being in that only two beds had sheets and my double in particular had a single sheet on it that did not even cover the top of the mattress let alone, tuck in. Not even a mattress protector so really this is a hygiene issue. We contacted the owner who got onto it immediately and sent a locksmith to investigate the locks we could not open. Apart from this, we were extremely pleased with its position, facilities and had a great time during our week. The complex is set around a salt water, free form, heated pool that was well maintained. tThe area is cleaned daily. Sunbeds around the pool are for rent at 3.5 euros each, 1.5euros for a mattress, 1.5 for a parasol so if you plan on sitting around the pool all week, you will need to factor in these costs. However, the apartment is so close to the pool area, we swam and rested on the sunbeds (four) provided in the apartment. A good outdoor space, two balconies (one with a side view of the sea), outdoor eating with canopy and plenty of seating. One of our party had a mobility scooter so access via the side gate would have been wonderful but there was no key provided for the gate and it was a tough call to lift the scooter in and out of the entrance step each day. I am sure that this will be sorted for any future party. Ground floor master suite with great walk-in shower and upstairs, a small double room and a large twin bedded room with two balconies. Steps up and down the various levels were not too bad but may be a problem for anyone with serious mobility issues. The television had two English ITV channels. Internet access was fleeting and after a brief few hours on the first day, didn't connect for the rest of the week but hey ho, this is a holiday and most people will have wifi on their phone anyway. Living, dining and kitchen were open plan and really well laid out. The sofa was so comfortable and would sleep two children if your party is large. I have never come across such a well equipped kitchen. Everything was provided, tea towels, cooking utensils and so many items of cutlery and crockery, even champagne flutes! If you want the simple life, live the days at your own pace and be close to the action, this is a sure bet.
what a great villa and location in the heart of Las Americas, the villa was everything and more you could ask for. Three good size bedrooms, a large modern kitchen ,big lounge and in a great location for shops bars and beach. The owner John was very helpful providing us with a cot and high chair and always answered promptly by email, this his highly recommended would certainly go back again.
We stayed here for a week in August (5 of us in total). The villa was very clean on arrival and had everything we could possibly want. The description on Holiday Lettings doesn't do this place justice at all. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed, including 2 hairdryers. The location is great and right next to the pool so makes it easy to pop back and grab a drink etc...
Nice and close to the shops, beach and bars, but lovely and quiet at night so got a good nights sleep.
The owner was great and responded to questions I had quickly.
Would definitely book again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending.
The only slight criticism it has no air con and if it had it I would rate it 6 stars...
This is a fab place in a lovely complex. It had everything you need to ensure you have a great stay, from a large living/kitchen area with all amenities, to a good sized terrace. Would not hesitate to use again.
