Just returned from a week's half board holiday in this hotel. It's a 3 star accommodation - it delivers a good 3 star service and more than deserves it 3 star rating! We went with realistic expectations and weren't disappointed. We always stay in 4 star hotels and it is fair to say that in some areas this hotel was obviously of a lower standard, but in some, higher e.g. the entertainment, location and food, were on a par with many of the 4 star hotels we've stayed in. As with another family who have commented on this site, we stayed in a room on the road side of 'the hotel. Very noisy I agree, but we didn't find it unbearable (any hotel with rooms on the main road has the same problem). Our room was huge, clean, well equipped, comfortable and we certainly didn't experience any ants. The pool area was busy. Too few sunbeds, although we always managed to get some, by joining the early morning campers! The entertainment was good - 2 games of bingo between 2 main acts each evenings. Something for everyone and a bit more than the usual parrot show, reptile show etc which is normally the only entertainment in the four star establishments. Soft drinks were expensive (2 euros for a coke) but the alcoholic drinks were realistically priced to compete with the local bars. Meals were more than adequate. A comprehensive choice at breakfast including freshly cooked omelettes and a good choice at dinner, including a weeky barbecue which was much better than others we have experienced. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Treat them with respect and they will respond! The Head Waiter, Tomas, is a lovely, helpful man who looked after us well.

The location cannot, in my opinion, be beaten. 5 mins stroll to the beach (extortionate rates for sunbeds here though - 9 euros for 2 beds and an umbrella!), some of the best shops in the resort on your doorstep and a 10 min stroll to the left to Los Cristianos and to the right to the lively Veronicas strip. Turn left out of hotel, then right towards the Mercadona supermarket and you will find some of the nicest Spanish resturants serving fab tapas (not cheap, but very, very good!!). 30 euros bought a feast for 2 with fine wine.

The down sides to the hotel to sum up are the sunbed situation in main season and the lack of aircon (I couldn't visit here in August!). The plus points far outweigh the negatives though and like many, many others we met whilst staying there, the majority of whom were regular customers, we will return!!! PS. There is a rumour that the hotel is attempting to gain All Inclusive status, in which case we might not!

We travelled with Direct Holidays & this may be the reason why we ended up at the noisy end of the hotel. Our room was quite pleasant & clean but was directly above reception. This meant that as these appartments are used by the big package holiday companies guests arrive at all hours of the night by coach from the airport. Not only that but other noisy deliveries are made in the early hours. Rooms above reception & in that block suffer from extensive noise during the night. Our fellow Brits also seem to like to have noisy arguments on their way back from the nightlife.

We were 3 and a half hours delayed so arrived after midnight it was very hot even at the end of October our room overlooked a busy road room 111 and I went to reception to ask for a quieter room but we were told hotel was fully booked.
Basic room which only deserves a two star I was dreading the "green" towels but to be honest they did not smell. Evening entertainment was very good but I heard a lot of people monaing that there was no kids club as the rep had broken her leg. We ate every lunch time at the Aberdeen steak house where for 3 euro's you could get a full English breakfast and a large beer - the restaurant was along the front and excellent value they also offered a three course evening meal for 7 euro's. The hotel is not worthy of a three star but for what we paid it was good value. Take my advise if you want to go to Siam Park get a cab there and the courtesy bus back to the Best Tenerife Hotel as we waited 30minutes one morning for the bus to take us and it did not turn up a cab cost 7 euro's.

just returned from parque de la paz, and was really impressed with the overall standard of this hotel.
on arrival we were given a ground floor room as we requested and was very suprised at how big it was! the kithchen has a a ketlle, toaster and a good working oven with hob, and also has all the pots, pans and utensils you would ever need!! the rooms were spotless too! the only fault i found was that there were a few ants running around and if you did happen to drop a crumb they would be there in a minute!!!
we travelled with our two year old son so was pleased when there was a baby pool wich was perfect for him and he spent the whole two weeks in !!!
we actualy went self catering but do wish we would have booked halfboard as we paid for breakfast a few times wich was 6 euros each and was well worth it!! as we did find los christianas very expensive but did manage to find a few ice places to eat that were very reasonable!! would reccomend the rovers return and the aberdeen steakhouse
overall we had a fab holiday and will definatley be returning to parque de la paz again x x

Just returned from these apartments..We booked the day before departure and were quite wary..Great location but if we returned it wouldn't be to these apartments..Found it very very noisy at night, our room was at the end on 3rd floor.Noise came from bars running along beside us and seemed to go on well into the night! Also found pool area small for the amount of guests and think it's robbery to charge for mattresses and parasols(we are told to be safe in the sun) also charged for tv.Entertainment was reasonable,we heard Frank Sinatra,Mama Mia,played bingo etc etc.
Rooms were cleaned 5 days a week and towels changed daily.
To sum up-middle of road apartments in a super location and fine for only sleeping in!!
