This hotel was lovely we had a great time , the staff were very friendly and all so busy , the rooms were very clean the maid came every day . The food was very good and large variety to chose from .
The location was good, just a short walk to the beach ether down steps or down the hill but the views are worth it .
No need to get up early and save a sun bed there are loads of them even if you come back from a trip you will always find one .
Helping yourself to drinks (apart from spirits) is good so there is no waiting .
overall we had a very good holiday and would go back there again

Firstly, British guests in this hotel are a minority with most of the other guests travelling from Germany, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, Norway etc.

Some of the guests from these other countries are very rude, have no manners, don't like queuing and when walking around the restaurant will just walk at/into you if you don't give way to them.

Reception/Check in
Check in was very quick, we were given our room keycards and our all inclusive bands and pointed in the direction of our rooms.

Rooms
We were allocated one of the HUGE double rooms on the ground floor down the long, long corridor. Unfortunately our room was on the even side (poolside) of the corridor (room 52) where the rooms get no sun this means the room was cold all the time and also our room had a damp/fusty smell to it.

We did move rooms during our stay due to water leaking through our bathroom ceiling from the room above (I assume this is where the damp/fusty smell came from). We complained twice to reception about the problem but after being told the leak had been fixed the first time we asked if we could move rooms the second time it happened. We were moved into a room on the odd side (road/sea) of the corridor (room 45) which was a lot nicer and warmer due to having sun beaming into it all day. Also the patio went out onto grass which was perfect for our little girl to run around on.

Restaurant/Food
The food was varied and there was a lot to choose from, although pork seemed to be on offer more than other meats. Desserts were a let down compared to other 'Spanish' all inclusive hotels we have stayed in, although the cheese and biscuits were nice.

The hotel got very busy during the end of our stay and the queues for the food at meal times were horrendous.

Cutlery is not set on the restaurant tables you have to collect it from stations around the restaurant. A few of our group thought this let down the restaurant.

There are not many staff around the restaurant so you are sometimes left with dirty plates piled up on your table. We did see “the fat controller” in action but all he does is make sure tables for six/eight people are not taken up by only two people, he was actually very friendly and often made a fuss of our 18 month old daughter.

There is a snack bar at the top of the complex where you can get burgers, hot dogs, chips, pizza during the day.

Entertainment
We didn't take part in the daytime activities but there were various activities taking place throughout the day.

At night there is the usual entertainment the minidisco starts at 8pm and then the main show at 9.30pm which consisted of the entertainment team dancing and miming to songs for whatever the show was (Grease, Mamma Mia etc). The main bar area where the shows takes place is not big enough for the number of guests and starts filling up from 6pm.

Location
The hotel is located at the top of a steep hill, there are two ways down to the promenade either a 15 minute walk down the road or about 200 metres down the road there are some steps (150+ steps) that lead down to the promenade.

About 10 minutes down the road is a Spa shop which is a lot cheaper than the onsite shop.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the road/sea get sun on them all day and the patios are sheltered from the wind so...

just returned from Atlantic club, was away from the snow here ha ha,and had a fantastic time although weather not at its best.the hotel delivered everything spot on for us,check in quick and polite, room (tirma 310) very bright and clean, great all inc food lots of selection so no gripes there accept my weight increase, help yourself to beer/wine/soft drinks, just the hard stuff to que for and not long waiting either, lovely grounds and pools kept in tip top condition.someone mentioned it was dirty in a earlier review, complete rubbish, yes a few carpets in some of the blocks corridors are worn in some areas but what do you expect with all the movement as long as rooms good.annimation team work non stop, please get to know them they were really fantastic in every way, also put on some very good shows at night, its not the west end but great entertainment for all.not to far to beach,i thought direct walk was as quick as the steps, resort itself not much going on bar wise for me although i may have not had a good look really, playa ingles 4euro so had a look there couple of times.i would recomend this place for anyone with younger kids because there is so much going on for them and mum n dad join in aswell, nothing is to much trouble for any of the staff we even had the maintenance call twice to mend lightcover and lamp which i was nt aware wanted doing.so go and enjoy it i dont think you ll be dissapointed.

Room Tip: were were in tirma block very quiet and caught sun out on balcony

I picked this hotel because of the reviews I had read on various sites and sift through the comments remembering that some people complain about anything and everything. It all depends what you want! Me, well I like to participate in everything...yes I am competetive but it helps in meeting and talking to people...of all nationalities....something that this hotel has plenty of, so if you want all British only don't go. The animacion team work tirelessly to help you have a good time with the personal touch, from sports and activities through the day to evening shows, from kids mini club to sports and shows. I was well fed and watered which is a big plus because if you don't get that no matter how good everything else is its never going to make the grade. The room was clean (and cleaned every day) the staff were pleasant and helpfull (yes there is road noise if you are on that side of the hotel) but overall this is a good hotel and I do not give praise lightly. If you want lively night life then maybe this is not for you (the area I mean). I really enjoyed my stay even though I was unlucky with the weather. The animacion team made this holiday for me....they are a team of six and all work exceedingly hard to please the guests. If you decide to go here take my advice, get to know them and participate it's worth it but if not relax on a sun bed around the pool or in the gardens without having to fight for a sunbed......enjoy.
