We are on our way home today. We have had a lovely stay. Staff are good, well mannered and helpful. These two lovely people behind the bar are a credit to your hotel. Friendly, happy and lovely company. Thank you missi and Isabele for making this a fantastic holiday. Would definitely stay here again. Hotel view was amazing. Sea view room was clean and tidy. Entertainment a bit samey. Loved our time here. Thank you once again. Xxxxx

Had a 10 night stay at this hotel .reception staff not helpfull i booked a sea view room on a lower to be given a none sea view room on the 6th floor .Nice hotel nice rooms livel pool area restaurant and bar staff good .Now the bad points definatly not a four star hotel food wasnt hot and was just warm all the time we was there we was all inclusive .My partner had what he thought to be a nice turky leg when he cut into it the meat was raw on another occasion he decided to have lamb which was the same. Spoke with customer services explained what had happened took photoes he said it looked shocking but then said why didnt you throw it away and get another one which was discusting. If you want food hot they ask you to use microwave wouldnt go back to this hotel

I would've liked to have given this hotel a good review because we enjoyed staying there, but getting charged for a cot on arrival is disgraceful.

We booked 2 adults and 1 baby into a FAMILY room and 1 adult into a different standard room (which was cheaper). Both rooms were identical and we had no cot. A standard room without a cot should not be advertised as a family room and cost more. What were we paying extra for?

The reception then informed us we had to pay €6 a day to hire a cot. So.. we've paid for all inclusive for 2 adults and 1 baby but there's nowhere for the baby to sleep. The receptionist said "it's the hotel rules". So we paid the €50 ish just so our baby had somewhere to sleep. What would a family who bought no spending money do?
A lot of people don't bring money if they're all inclusive. We also had to rent a kettle (deposit only) to boil the baby milk.

It goes without saying, a cot in the room should be free. Hotels in the UK (even Travelodge) supply a free cot and a kettle. It may be a local Salou "rule" that all hotels there do, I'm not sure. But where we live, in Tenerife, the hotels supply a free cot to any booking with a baby. It is completely NECESSARY.

On to the positives: The food was above average, some nice meats and salad (although someone needs to tell the Spanish hotel owners that frankfurters are not a proper sausage). The rooms were adequate, high end 3 star quality with 2 single beds pushed together (would've preferred a double as we're a couple). Excellent sea views. Pool area was nice, relaxing, good family vibe. Most of the bar staff were great (except 1 barman who was very rude and judgemental). Good family entertainment, hardworking entertainments team.

So why does a hotel that could be so brilliant for families ruin it by charging for a cot?

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view, but don't bother booking a family room because it's exactly the same as the standard room.

For myself the location was excellent, there are 89 steps down to the local beach, road option available, staff very friendly, cleaning staff very good, the hotel just needs a little TLC. Pool bar not in use.

Got a deal to stay here start of October. Hotel is at top of town so not for those who have mobility issues, we clocked up on average 15000 steps a day walking in and out of main area.
We had half board, breakfast & dinner, but after the first night dinner I found it difficult to get anything I liked so we swapped to lunch. All meals are buffet style with breakfast having the usual eggs, bacon, sausage beans, cereals as well as selection of cold meats & cheese. Lunch had a selection of hot/cold dishes including tortilla, fish, beef and plenty of fresh salads. My only comment on the hot food was it could’ve been warmer. Lifts also very busy at breakfast time which is a pain if you’re on the higher floors.
Bedroom was basic but cleaned every day but could’ve done with a wipe down of the patio table on balcony. Air conditioning wasn’t great and I wouldn’t think it would be much good in height of summer as it wasn’t cool enough for October.
Pool area was grand, but I preferred the roof terrace with double beds as it was much quieter.
Staff didn’t interact much with guests and their behaviour was functional as opposed to friendly.
We had a value for money break and would go back if price was right!!
