After reading some negative reviews on here I was a little anxious as to what the hotel would be like however I was pleasantly surprised with my 2 week stay here! Rooms were very spacious and clean. The complimentary beers and pepsi in the fridge were a really nice touch. However I will say that the fridge was not very good at keeping things chilled - the temperature was set to 10 degrees.

The pool was great, if a little chilly (especially as the sun did not hit it until midday) and it was always relatively easy to get sun loungers. Breakfast in the restaurant was brilliant with fresh pancakes and omelettes made to order, dinner and lunch a little more disappointing. The food did get a bit repetitive especially staying here 2 weeks. Desert was not great however the salad bar was excellent. All inclusive drinks were very good - I mostly stuck to sangria or the cocktail of the day (varies between sex on the beach, pina colada, black russian and various others). Drinks measures were also huge! Staff were largely great, with the exception of one female bar staff who was quite rude and failed to listen properly to orders.

The location of the hotel was very good. A few minutes walk from a supermarket and only 10 minutes to the beach. It was about a 10/15 minute walk to Europa Plaza were the buses to Port Aventura and Aquapolis left from (would highly recommend visiting both). All in all, a great holiday.

Room Tip: If you're travelling in a group with multiple rooms, the hotel seem happy to oblige the request...

Just back from one week holiday with 2 teenagers. Hotel seemed clean and in good condition. Rooms cleaned daily. Beds a bit hard and flimsy but got a great sleep. 1st few days had no problem getting sunbed around pool but when busy we were only left with lots of broken sunbeds to choose from. Food ok if you liked school dinners, breakfast was the best. Entertainment staff tried very hard to involve everyone on what appeared to be a limited budget. If you like alternative comedy then hang around for 10pm shows but definately not suitable for young children. Location great. Overall it did what it said on the tin.

Had a week here at the beginning of June 2012 on an all inclusive bases. Rated as 4* thought is should be top end! How wrong could I have been. From the moment you arrive you feel like a second class resident of this hotel, you are given a list of what is free and what is not (and believe me if you are given a full A4 sheet). Room was very dated not clean and not maintained to any standard (broken furnishing and dirty), only one hanger in the wardrobe towels that were about 3 years old and well worn and flat, and thick dust under the bed.

Food was good on the first day (Friday), plenty to eat and fresh, but come Saturday (Most people arrived this day), food was very scarce and the waiting was long. Breakfast was OK but Lunch and dinner were the same food with very little variation between the two. Most days the food was the same.

Bars, We were told that there were 3 bars but on arriving found that there were only 2 and one of these was only part time. the main bar is 2.5 m long (Very small), and you are only allowed 2 drinks per person per visit to the bar if you are staying All inclusive (so if there are 5 people 3 have to go to the bar to get 5 drinks), Also you are only allowed half pints of soft drinks unless you are a paying guest. There was always a long wait at the bar.

Entertainment, This was rubbish and not for families of young children after 10pm.
Pool, always busy and very small.
Staff, helpful most of the time.

Overall I would not book this hotel again.

Just got back from a week here with my boyfriend and we had a great time! We arrived at about 10pm, not expecting to get much out of the all inclusive as it was so late, but we were told the restaurant had been left open for us (there was about 20 of us arriving) and that we could go have some food before we checked in which was great! Unfortunately there was only salad and chips, but having not expected anything this was great!

Our room was on the 5th floor, looking out the front of the hotel which we thought was nice. We got the sun on the balcony until about 2/3 and there was very minimal street noise. It was very clean, spacious and modern. Our air con wasn't working when we got there, but it was fixed the next day.

We were a bit apprehensive about the food having read some of the reviews on here, but we were very happy with it. Can't see why anybody would complain really! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the fresh pancakes were brilliant (worth waiting a few minutes for) and there was a few sauces to go with them. The rest of the cooked breakfast was also fantastic, especially the bacon! Lunch and dinner also had a wide selection of food, ranging from kebab sticks to curries and stews. The puddings were great, particularly the mousse that they had every night (alternating flavours).

The bar staff were all very friendly (especially Teo) and you never had to wait long for a drink. Only complaint here was about the cocktail menu. For All Inclusive there was only one cocktail each day that you could have, which was a little disappointing, but the cocktails we did have were very good!

We went on three trips: Barcelona Football + Free Time, Rave on the Wave and we went to Aquapolis. We enjoyed Barcelona, although Nou Camp wasn't as exciting as we thought it would be. We were told the rave on the wave party boat would be all inclusive food and drink, so were very disappointed to find there was no food, and only beer and sangria to drink (not a problem for most people I'd imagine, but I can't stand either of them). It wasn't particularly suited to couples either, mainly for singles, so I wouldn't advise going on it if you're travelling as a couple, but if you're with your friends I imagine it would be great! The waterpark was good, however a lot of the food outlets were shut, and everyone seemed to congregate at the main restaurant/self service bit which meant the queue was quite long. The slides were all good though, and waiting times for a rubber ring weren't too bad.

All in all it was a great holiday, and we would definitely return here!
