Great place. Very interesting to hear all about the butterflies. Not scarey as I thought it may have been. Also reptiles.

This a lovely place to spend an hour or two if you like to admire beauty and think conservation. However be warned as it is quite warm in there about 30 degrees and 80% humidity but well worth it. With over a thousand butterflies and some moths (which are just resting in the day) there is an amazing diversity of size and colour. All this is set in what you might call a tropical jungle of plants, with waterfall and koi carp pool. Every so often one of the employees gives a short take in English and Spanish about the life cycle of these beautiful butterflies. As well as the usual gift shop there is a small cafe attached which does reasonable priced snacks and drinks. A small eating area outside provides a welcome cooling off area to enjoy lunch before returning inside for a further visit if that is what you want to do. Very easy to get to on the bus up from Benalmádena which costs about €1.55 per adult. After all that there is a large open area outside the park which gives extensive views of the Mediterranean coast and towns. Well worth a visit.

Having been caught out by a spell of heavy rain whilst exploring Benalmadena Pueblo, we went into the Butterfly Park and spent an hour and a half totally enthralled with the place. The variety and colours of the butterflies was wonderful with plenty of information about their life cycle. This is well worth a visit.

As we were staying in toremmolinos we took the local bus from just outside of the marconfort greigo hotel to go to the butterfly park. Before we went I went on line and booked to visit butterfly park, diffrent prices for seniors and children. It took us around half an hour to get there in the local bus the fare was only 1.55 euros per person each way. What can I say about the farm there are thounds and all shaped, sizes and colourfull buterllies, birds and small animals in the park. They also did a comentry on how the butterflies are raised. It was a nice day out.

We had planned on visiting this place and were pleased to learn that entry was included in our red bus ticket. It is all indoors which I didn't expect but the building was nice and the inside had a tropical feel. Loads of butterflies of all shapes and colours and also a wallaby and a giant tortoise! Good photo opportunities and something different. It's worth a visit if you like nature.
