Having been caught out by a spell of heavy rain whilst exploring Benalmadena Pueblo, we went into the Butterfly Park and spent an hour and a half totally enthralled with the place. The variety and colours of the butterflies was wonderful with plenty of information about their life cycle. This is well worth a visit.

As we were staying in toremmolinos we took the local bus from just outside of the marconfort greigo hotel to go to the butterfly park. Before we went I went on line and booked to visit butterfly park, diffrent prices for seniors and children. It took us around half an hour to get there in the local bus the fare was only 1.55 euros per person each way. What can I say about the farm there are thounds and all shaped, sizes and colourfull buterllies, birds and small animals in the park. They also did a comentry on how the butterflies are raised. It was a nice day out.

We had planned on visiting this place and were pleased to learn that entry was included in our red bus ticket. It is all indoors which I didn't expect but the building was nice and the inside had a tropical feel. Loads of butterflies of all shapes and colours and also a wallaby and a giant tortoise! Good photo opportunities and something different. It's worth a visit if you like nature.

Really interesting visit, and much more than simply a butterfly farm, birds, tortoise, lizard fish and even a wallaby. It would be easy to rush round and not get the full value of your visit. It is worth waiting for the guided hourly tour before doing your own thing. It is quite far out of town but easy to reach cheaply by bus although this will include 2 different buses if travelling from the outskirts of Torremolinos as we were

Get as close to nature as you can but watch where you are putting your feet!! See Koi carp up close as well as the butterflies and exotic birds flying inside the butterfly house.
