Awesome views and truly unique location. A good hike to the top for a breathtaking vista. Excellent value for money.

You can get there by car. Parking is 3 euro and the entrance fee is another 3 euro p.p.
Then you walk up for approx 10 minutes until you reach the top. The view along the way is breathtaking.
Once on the top you can see the most famous rock of Palau that resemble the shape of a bear.
You can walk around it or just admire it from the side if you suffer from fear of heights
Overall a must see!

I have been coming to Capo d'Orso for almost 30 years. It's a beautiful natural formation that's been around, and recognizable as a bear, for thousands of years. However nowadays, there are too many restrictions. You have to pay for parking and have to pay six or more Euro per person and cannot even go where you want on any of the surrounding rocks where people have been climbing for hundreds of years. Having to stay within some haphazardly hung ropes and pay for non-visual access to the bear is rather disappointing.

The views of the surrounding area are beautiful!

It will cost you 6 euro for two to climb the capo d'orso and 3 euro for the parking. After 10 min walking you will reach the top and can admire this Bear made of Rock.
Superb spot for a shooting.
Try to arrive before sunset to have nice shot with day light and sunset at the horizon.

worth the quick walk up to see the bear close up. You have to pay for parking but it's not much. Wlk is a bit steep but not very long
