The apartment was clean and spacious. We stayed in a "3 piece" apartment for 6/7 people. This consisted of a spacious lounge/diner with 2 sofa beds and a 3rd that pulled out with legs to make a proper bed. A TV (19E for week) and a balcony. Plenty of room in the bedroom to add this bed for our little one and still be able to move around.
The kitchen was well placed and clean and functional. The cupboards were filled with all you could need to cook basic food and we were pleased to find more than enough cutlery and plates so you could put a couple of sittings in the dishwasher before you needed to wash up a few.
There were nice big saucepans etc to cook with too.
The lounge had a door to the hall which meant when you put the kids to bed you were completely separate which was nice.
In the hallway was a large shelfing unit and a hanging cupboard and next to it a toilet.
Along the corridor was a bathroom (with shower in bath) next to a shower room (nice powerful shower)
Next to these was the purpose made alcove for the bunk beds. These had deep drawer storage underneath and individual lights (nice touch)
At the end of the corridor was the double bedroom. This again had a big storage cupboard and two bedside tables.
We were told by reception that our apartment was a little larger because it was on the end (it made the longe/diner a bit wider at one end).
Overall we were extremely impressed.
Oh and don't worry about how you get your stuff up there either. We ended up with 18 bags (including food and skis etc!!). They are extremely organised with this too. When you arrive you back your car into a bay and empty it and most of your family onto a concourse. When everyone is ready and the car has been parked an attendant calls a snowmobile that takes you and the bags to the door of the hotel. The cost for this was a fixed rate of 8E which we thought was quite reasonable.
To get down to the village on foot is easy by going down one lift crossing one hotel and going down a second lift. It brings you out pratically at the door of the Sherpa supermarket opposite the Anne Famose childrens ski school.
To sum it up this Apartment is spacious, very well equipped, with tons of storage and to top it all the most fantastic views over the whole of Avoriaz and the valley and mountains beyond.
