We stayed in May 2011 & found the hotel good value - free parking & including breakfast.
Beds extremely comfortable & serviced daily. Transport to Madrid was a choice of two trains to city centre. There was a major shopping centre within easy walking for a choice of evening meals and/or shopping.
Our only complaint was the extreme difficulty in finding the correct flyover & correct exit to reach the hotel. We were driving a rental vehicle, on the other side of the road for us, & it took over 45 minutes to access the correct exit & then nearly missed the driveway - which would have meant doing the whole thing again.
Even our GPS could not find the hotel.
Please, could signage be made larger & more plentiful to enable finding the hotel.

If you are commuting from Madrid, the "Renfe" train from Atocha station takes approx 10 -20min, the metro takes much longer from the city centre.
If you are taking public transport, I would advise arriving at Alcorcon station in daylight hours, turn left as you exit station(the side where the taxi rank/shops are located) and walk approx 5 minutes up the hill towards the flyover (you will see the HI sign to the left).
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Noisy whatever side of the hotel your room is located as this hotel is positioned in between a motorway and flyover (air cons are just as noisy as leaving the window open).
I asked for a quiet room, the receptionist was honest and said it was difficult to provide one.
All sides are exposed to the motorway and flyover.

The room we were allocated was not as clean as it could have been. The towels were changed daily, however the hand soap dispenser remained empty for the 3 days we stayed there.
Breakfast was not up to HI standards. A basic continental breakfast with assorted cereals is included in the prices, however the quality of produce was poor. The breakfast provided was also insufficient for the amount of guests.

Only stay here if you are desperate for a room and for the convenience of the motorway if you are driving.
The Ibis at the Suanzes metro stop is the same price, cleaner and a more convenient location for access into central Madrid. We stayed here on our first night in Madrid as we had arrived a day early, before moving to Alcorcon Holiday Inn which we had booked in advance.

Room Tip: I asked for a quiet room, the receptionist was honest and said it was difficult to provide one. All sides are exposed to the motorway and flyover.

We always stay in Holiday Inns because the standard is the same in most parts of the world. The staff in this one are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic - croissants, pastries, toast, ham, cheese slices, tinned and fresh fruit, toast... all the usual Holiday Inn stuff that will keep you going for the day. This hotel is a €40-50 taxi ride from Madrid airport, (maybe a bit more depending on how honest the taxi driver is!). It is also a short walk, about 500m, from Alcorcon station, which will take you to Atocha, the central station in Madrid in about half an hour (just for your info, you can easily walk to the Prado museum from Atocha and catch the tour buses outside the museum). It is a similar walking distance away from a big shopping mall called Tres Aguas where you can get almost anything you want. The staff will direct you to both these places. There is a restaurant next door to the hotel, but they don't speak English. We had two rooms and everything was fine. Only thing is, get to breakfast early because there tends to be a lot of groups with kids who turn up during the last half hour, so the tables might be full and you could get delayed if you have a planned itinerary. We would stay there again and perhaps take the train from the airport this time, as it would be much cheaper.

This is a very friendly hotel, their staff are really nice and friendly, they answer all of your questions, and they are very helpful. They gave us free internet. We had problems with the air conditioning unit in one for our rooms, but they solved the problem immediately, changing us of room, and apologizing for the incovenience. They gave us an early check-in, inviting us breakfast, really nice and friendly staff as I already quoted. They have a basic breakfast, but with the essentials. We would return to this friendly hotel.

This hotel is located in Madrid suburbs. But there are several good things about this location. First of all this hotel is very nicely priced. Second of all it is located 5 minutes walk from the train station which will get you to Atocha in 20 minutes (there is also subway station, but it takes much longer). Also there is a huge shopping mall, also 5 minutes form the hotel (in the opposite direction from the train station).

The hotel looks quite new, the rooms are OK, service is very nice, breakfast is very "Holiday Inn Express" but it's included in the price.

It's a very good choice for Madrid visitors, despite that fact that it's far from the cetner.
