“Great Place to Relax”
Reviewed 17 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed at the Piney Woods Cabin while we attended Antiques Weekend. It was great to get away from the crowds and traffic after a busy day. The back roads between the cabin and Warrenton were interesting. The bluebonnets and other wildflowers were blooming in early April.

The cabin is beautifully decorated and located in a lovely area. We enjoy getting away from it all and liked the seclusion and quiet. No TV or internet (except our phones), but that was fine with us. The owner was very helpful and provided great suggestions for places to eat and things to do in the area. We hope to stay here again soon!

“Cozy, Quaint and Adorable”
Reviewed 2 April 2014 for a stay in March 2014

This was the perfect little cabin in the middle of nowhere. You feel like your in the middle of the moutains in Ruidosa. We couldn't ask for more perfect weather for our weekend of Junking with friends in Warrenton. I wish we had more time so we could of enjoyed a nice fire with the cool brisk breeze.. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life this is the place. The owners have a perfect little secret. We will be back. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your precious cabin.

“Awesome Weekend Getaway”
Reviewed 23 October 2013 for a stay in October 2013

My mom and my sister all met here for a weekend getaway. The cabin itself is fabulous. It's really cozy and very well decorated! Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. The porch is probably my favorite spot; we enjoyed drinking coffee watching the deer in the mornings. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend printing out directions/map beforehand because your GPS/phone will probably stop working (we didn't have phone service at the cabin, but this wasn't necessarily a bad thing :). I'd also recommend driving there during the daylight because navigating on unpaved dark roads at night can be a little unnerving. Pay attention to the turn by turn directions she gives you, the last two miles are tricky if you didn’t pay attention. If you plan on cooking bring everything you might need including pots, pans, aluminum foil, spices, can opener, coffee etc. All of the appliances work great though. Other than that this place is awesome!!!
