The whole concept of Korean fusion isn't anything new, but c'mon...tacos and Korean?! How can you possibly go wrong?! There are a small but hopefully growing number of food trucks in this area. Even fewer that come on post increasing the dining options. KK is the only one I've had a chance to try and I was pleasantly surprised, but also slightly disappointed. The menu is modest, but has all the usual expected selections. I've tried the bulgogi plate and the bulgogi tacos. The plate was a bit disappointing. The meat is a little sweet for my personal taste, but not by any means bad. At that price, however, I would expect the portion to be a little more...substantial. Not much meat, mostly rice. For that price or less, there a number of Korean joints off post with more generous serving sizes. The tacos were good. You get two generously sized tacos for a low price. Once again though, the meat is just a too sweet for my taste. Another personal negative is that the tacos, although stuffed, are only single tortilla. A single corn tortilla simply doesn't hold up to the wet content. My tacos disintegrated into a mess...and I had no utensils. I'd still like to go back and try some of the other menu items. All in all, KK is a solid dining option if you come across it.
