“Always different”
Reviewed 28 April 2012

Over the years I've gone to this museum - sometimes a couple of times a year, sometimes it's years between visits - and it's always different. The standard grocery store is always there, though, which is great as the kids really seem to love to go shopping and check out at the registers. Lots of hands-on things and enough info on placards to keep adults entertained.

“Constant updating”
Reviewed 28 April 2012

We had a membership here when we lived in Houston. Great, safe, interactive place for the kids. Worth a day trip! We would go every few months and there was always something new to do and see. My boys were between the ages of 3-6 and loved it every visit!

“Engaging and Educational”
Reviewed 26 April 2012

Children's museums vary so much from city to city, but Houston has it going on! Inside the museum offers a city scape where the kids can role play as veterinarians, police officers, bank officers, and lots of other careers. Businesses give out pay checks and they can be deposited at the bank, just like real life. The kids loved using the ATM machine. Outside is a great water park. Make sure you go on a sunny day because this is one of the best features of the whole place. Kids can sail the boats down water channels, fill up the water wheel, there's all kinds of stuff to do. Highly recommended. Yes, it's costly, but less than a baseball game, as much as the zoo or a movie.

“The greatest place to take my grandkids!”
Reviewed 23 April 2012

I loved watching my 4 & 6 year old grandson being able to run about and interact with so many different displays! There is so much for them to do that I've taken them three times and LOVE to see them have such a good time. They love pretending they work at HEB, on the ambulance, and the animal hospital.
