...and his name is Ricardo! Last month we ran into a small problem at the hotel and this amazing man helped our entire group of six. We were about to turn around and leave when he offered assistance and put things into motion.
We all love the hotel and our rooms were picture perfect; ours was a corner room which I highly suggest! Don't forget to ask for Ricardo as he is a breath of fresh air for hotels.

Room Tip: corner room - always

Overall, this is a very nice brand new hotel! But since they are so new, they really need to work out a few kinks in their daily function. There were several people talking about rooms that were double booked...including ours (this must be a computer glitch on their room system??). And their front desk computers have a glitch to the valet parking computers, as even though our bill was paid, the valet would not release the vehicle!! The restaurants here are excellent! The area is safe and great to walk around. Do not stay in an accessible room unless you need too...the shower in awkward, and the AC in that room was very noisy. Ask for a room facing the pool area - it is a very cool lazy river they have!!! The lazy river and pool are great (except the main pool doesn't allow children after 6pm!!! 8pm would be a better time). and the wind picks up a lot so watch your belongings, or they'll blow away!! Was fun for the kids though :)

Room Tip: Ask for room facing pool, away from elevators, high level, not accessible rooms.

We were party of a wedding party this weekend and stayed at the hotel from March 30-April 1st. The room and housekeeping was excellent. All the wedding venues were simply gorgeous and I would give them a 5 star rating if it were not for the food. The food at the wedding was partially catered by the hotel and partially by an outside caterer. My daughter is allergic to all nuts and I was appalled to find no allergen information on any of the meals barring the wedding lunch (Italian) where they had Gluten/Dairy called but no NUTS!! What was worse is that none of the serving staff could tell me with any kind of confidence on what was safe to eat. Their recommendation to me was "We would advise you to not eat" - REALLY?? I cannot imagine that my daughter was the only person with nut allergies - has the hotel never dealt with that before? I can understand that their kitchen did not prepare some of the food but isn't it their responsibility to KNOW what they are serving so that they can keep their guests safe? Completely irresponsible handling of such a common place issue - very very disappointed.

Dear Sonia M,

Thanks for taking the time to evaluate our hotel. We were happy to hear that most of your stay was enjoyable but we are truly sorry for the problem you experienced with the catered meals for the wedding you were attending. We never want a guest to leave with a negative opinion, and we apologize that our staff were not able to address all of your concerns. We hope you will consider giving us another chance to provide you with the hospitality and accommodations you deserve every time you choose us.

We stayed here for a girl’s weekend during the Rodeo. My only negative is that the weather wasn’t nicer so we could spend more time in the pool area. We watched some March madness games by the pool bar and the bar tenders were great. Rooms are what you expect from a nice Marriott. Everyone was pleasant and our stay was wonderful. I do not have kids but think this would be a really fun hotel for families. The pool area is unlike any other Marriott I have seen!

Absolutely amazing staff. We had great fun with our children and grandchildren. Lots to do for everyone! The hotel was at 98% occupancy and the staff never missed a beat and were always friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again.
