New to town and looking for a bakery. Stopped and decided to try a few things. Other reviews had been positive. Disappointed! Cookies tasted day old at best. Chocolate cherry essentially tasteless and VERY dry. Ginger cookies and wedding cookies so so at best. Probably won't be back.

Will definitely come back here for breakfast next time I am in Galveston. Danish basket for the table for a starter was excellent. I would ask to swap the chocolate chip scone for another croissant next time but that is just personal preference. Waiter was perfectly attentive, great atmosphere with plenty of space between tables. Migas were very good and the potatoes as a side were excellent! Thoroughly enjoyed my meal!

Loved the Belgian waffles with fresh fruit! We got a takeaway order instead of waiting for a patio seat, but am looking forward to enjoying the outside area next time.

It's a bit pricey when coffee costs $3.49, but the biscuits and gravy were OK - needed some sausage or something to add flavor to the gravy. The little breakfast was huge and tasty. Prices don't bother anyone cause there was a waiting line to get in so go early. Wanted to pick up a dessert, but it was the day before Thanksgiving and the bakery was busy with filling holiday orders.

I arrived early enough for breakfast to beat the crowd, though it was getting busy as I ate. It's best to get here for breakfast before 9 A.M., since this is a popular restaurant. I ordered the Sausage & Grits entrée: sausage patties, scrambled eggs, grits, tomato, spinach, bacon. Reasonably priced. Good service.
