It was a great location and good breakfast. The hotel was in walking distance to downtown and to our 290winery bus. That was a great perk, we never had to use our car. The breakfast was good, lots of carbs - waffle maker, pastries, they did have yogurts and some fruit. The coffee was very tasty. The only down fall was the AC. The room was very HOT and even though we had the AC on full blast. It took a long time to cool down. Also the WIFI was not the greatest.

We have been going to Fredericksburg for years but have never stayed at the Sunday House. This time we had 6 in our group but needed just one room. The suite worked perfect for us all, very clean and such a quite environment. We enjoyed the pools. The staff were extremely friendly. I would recommend the inn for all occasions.

Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. It is definitely a little "worn", but well-maintained. We had a suite and there was plenty of room for more people in there. Only complaint was that they forgot to leave cups for the coffee!

One mess after another. The door did not open, coffee pot ran all over, sink backed up
Every day had to have someone at the office open the door what a mess. I would not recommend this place at all.Breakfast was not much. If you left to go to your room and come back to get your husband who is disabled the door was locked. Oh what a time
I had trying to get them to open the door. The help was too busy eating. I would not recommend this place. What a miserable experience left before I had intended.

Room tip: Just don't stay here

Simple, clean, convenient, friendly. It is at the East end of Main St and your shopping can begin right out the front door. There is nothing special but nothing negative either. The AC is sufficient and the staff helpful and professional.
